Room was ok.. but not cheap so expect it to be.But... and read this and believe...The breakfast was disgusting... the buffet was not heated and the food.. if I can call it that was awful. The coffee was.. awfulThe orange machine.. broken..Staff useless..The food manager... horrible little man.. rude and dismissive...Was on the mobile all the time and trying to communicate was disrespectful and a joke.Do.. not.. eat.. there.. in fact.. there are other hotels at the price.. go there. This is the world of reviews..And .. believe... this is 100% genuine.

Me and my partner went here for a short getaway. Definitely worth it. Room was lovely and spacious with the clean bathtub in the room. We also got the fruit and drink (got junior suite). The little added amenities were really nice touch and added to our stay. Would be good if reiterated on booking that if you add the spa into the room you need to book this prior to entering spa (all depends on availability). The spa itself was really good and lots of different areas and pools to go too. Only other thing would say that it is a 4* and as such would have expected the area under the bed to be cleaned once in a while. It was full of dust. The location is good and there's a good few restaurants close by on the beach front which is only a short walk away. It also has private parking. Will definitely re-visit

The room was not very clean, they didn’t even clean it the next day. The worker at the reception is not the most helpful. The location of the hotel is good, parking around the hotel is free.We did not use the breakfast , spa and pool. There are many delicious cafes within a 10-15 minute walk.

Misrepresenation/incorrect info on the booking site. There were photos of the swimming pools outside and inside, and this was the very reason i booked the hotel to have kids swim inside in the winter time. it turned out, that only outside pool is included in price (closed in a winter), and the inside pool belongs to spa, which costs 25€ per person for 90 min entrance! that is 100€ a day for a family of 4! Plus, kids are not allowed in the evening in the pool! None of this was written in the description of the hotel! I complained to General Manager, the only solution he has proposed is to give 50% discount. Very disappointing and frustrating. On the positive side, breakfast was great and abundant!

Great Hotel to relax and enjoy. Very close to the beach with its access to a big selection of restaurants. You can walk into Marbella along the sea front. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

A good hotel for all inclusive. The food was good with plenty of variety. We were a party of 6 adults and always found somewhere to sit together. The drinks were good measures and queues varied at peak times but often you could be served straight away. 4 drinks pp we're allowed at one visit. Little extras like olives, crisps and nuts were a nice touch. All staff were helpful and friendly. There was a good mix of games during the day.Beds were comfortable and the rooms were cleaned daily. Took the complementary bus to the beach. Sunbedshad a thick cushion and were 7€ each. Toilets were close by and a small seated area across the road offered free food and drinks for the hotel guests. The hotel had restaurants, shop and bars close by. Close to bus stops for venturing further. Entertainment OK. Overall we would stay again.

Lovely hotel. Most of the staff are delightful. Room clean every day. Pool is a good size. Location to shops and beach is great. Bus stop just up the road with frequent service and train station not far away. Plenty of food and drink.Weather was fantastic for mid AprilTaxi from airport only 20 EuroLocal taxi available just ask reception and they call for you

Adequate base for golf holiday. 3 star type hotel. Food not bad. Entertainment very popular with a lot of guests, like a working mens club abroad. Kids club, bingo, turn, dance music. A bit loud as sound carries throughout the floor. Rooms clean. Handy for Torremolinos centre which has some nice bars and restaurants.

Gemma Walsh

It's a very central hotel, close to the shops, beach. The hotel is OK, however we slept in the room next to the lift that was very noisy. The entertainment room is small with 2 large pillars preventing you from seeing what's on. They do have an outside stage for peak season I think that would be much better.

Ivy Cleland

Been here a few days while the rooms are clean it's not a place that I would return to or recommend. absolutely nothing for the grandkids apart from the pool which is freezing, Saturday nights entertainment was a bit below the belt for kids, and the food that's a whole new story we are all inclusive and we have had to eat out 3 times now because there is nothing for the kids to eat. Please remember that you have English and Irish guests and food could maybe accommodate them to, apart from the nights I have eaten out I've lived on chips,

We visited Holiday World Polynesia as a family of four in May 2024.Staff were excellent, fluent in English and good with children, especially those in the restaurant. The restaurant buffet is the best we’ve experienced from any hotel we’ve visited. The reception area is breathtaking and beautifully constructed.Views from the restaurant area of Fuengirola and the coastline are exceptional. The hotel has childcare, an arcade room, a convenience store and many other amenities on site- which in itself is very secure and has security monitoring 24/7.

My wife and I spent 6 nights here with our two kids aged 5 & 10 and had a brilliant time. We would be more than happy to go back again!Staff were always friendly and helpful everywhere we went. Spanish/English barrier is there but it’s easy to navigate and staff all understood and spoke English very well. The animation team were especially impressive with their energy and games to keep guests and kids entertained. The room we were in was a great size, plenty of room for the two kids on a sofa bed, a small fridge was there for keeping drinks cold and the bathroom was fantastic also. I gave the rooms only 4 stars because the legs on the beds in the actual bedroom were hanging off, eventually came off but were completely replaced when reported to reception within an hour so perfect service anyway. The breakfast, lunch and dinner service were very efficient. The food was lovely and always fresh; if you’re in to trying new foods you will enjoy the selection they have. Lunch bites are served between certain times at the Tiki bar around the pool which is perfect if you have kids with a never ending hunger and thirst! For kids there is a disco at 21:00 each night which is great for tiring young kids out before bed. They have an arcade with 4-5 pool tables, plenty of games and a bowling alley with three lanes which is perfect for older kids too.The beach club was lovely and my favourite place to relax, it’s a 10 minute walk or quicker if you get the free open top bus from the front of the hotel to the entrance. If you are all inclusive you can enjoy all the same benefits here. They have a pirate ship with a slide and a few water slides which you need to rent a large inflatable for.All in all, our experience here was very good. I would recommend it to families looking for an all in one place to stay to keep the kids and yourselves entertained!

Karolina B

Great place for a family holidays. The spa facilities are really good. My 2 year old son had lots of fun here. He loved the outside splash areas and also the baby spa. We enjoyed every minute spent here.

Emily McRae

Really nice hotel, well maintained and good rooms. The animation team was amazing, things on for adults and kids throughout the day. Bit further away from everything than I thought but about a 20 minute walk either way to shops or a 15 minute taxi ride to the marina and other places of interest. Would recommend this hotel.

Terry Coldham

Great hotel for the family and lots of things to do for the kids but sadly once you leave the complex you have very steep down hill walks in either direction and no bars or restaurants in the immediate areas. The long walks to night life means uphill walks on the way back.Liked the hotel but shame on the location.Beach club opposit the hotel is great for the kids and has all sorts of features to entertain the little ones.

Just got back from a week here with family. For the price we were pleasantly surprised. The food had a large amount of variety, staff were friendly and the hotel was clean. Taxis were quick and easy to call from reception and it's cheap to use them to get around. It's a 25 minute walk to the front if you don't want to get the bus or a taxi. Very little bad to say about this place, aside from a few (British) guests that could do with learning some manners! We had a family room on the 11th floor and the views were fantastic.

sinead power

Rooms very clean, very large and yes dated but comfortable. Staff all very helpful and Friendly. I did not enjoy the food, but everything else was great. I liked the location free bus to beach and town.

Alan Williamson

Hotel is really nice but just a bit of a walk into town, there is a wee bus that runs down to the beach but it was intermittent at the time’s.We stayed half board and the food was lovely and the restaurant was clean with lots of good quality food, disappointed that we had four nights and five days whilst we stayed but arrived late the first night, didn’t have any food, last day we didn’t have time for evening meal and was refused to attend lunch instead, we where asked to pay for lunch. Not great value when you pay for five days and you only get breakfast on the last day and nothing on the first day.Great hotel if you are all inclusive but be aware if you go half board.

Grzegorz Cichonski

Good food. Clean and nice rooms. Excellent and very helpful staff. Good location. Long walk to the beach. A bit too expensive hotel car park.

Meaghan Power

Pros:1. Spacious rooms (I had top floor sea view);2. Great price3. Staff very lovely and kind4. Drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic were great) - all bartenders and entertainment staff were lovely5. Entertainment good (for children, families, and older adults) - there are quite a few competitions to include darts and bingo6. Grocery store a 5 minute walk down the street for snacks as there are not many offers past 9pmCons:1. Pool closes early (6:30 pm) when I was there in April - so no late night swims2. Food is incredibly bland - I am not picky but there was no seasoning whatsoever (make sure to have salt & pepper at your table)3. Not as accommodating for adults alone - bar closes at 12am, "club" downstairs targeted toward older people and children, pool closes early, not many adult-friendly activities4. Shuttle service to town did not run from 12-4 (however there is a great bus M110 that will take you directly to Torremolinos and to Malaga - the other way - for a couple of euros)5. Lots of ants so be carefulNOTE - If you are a young couple, the majority of the older guests were very creepy and made both my partner and I incredibly uncomfortable. They were oggling and staring, trying to grab me and my partner (mind you I was fully clothed), and would come closer to us by the pool, the dining room, and the bars. I know that this is not a fault of the hotel, but it did put a damper on the overall experience.

A strange hotel! Full of contradictions. The entrance to the hotel feels fresh and modern, but when I get to the reception I get the feeling that this hotel has seen better days. Being checked in by a very nice and service-minded guy. Take the elevator to my floor. Here comes more contradictions. Get out of the elevator and see nice designer lamps. Looking where I'm going and being met by a dirty carpet that has seen better days. Going to my room with a little anxiety about what will come next. to my surprise, I step into a nicely renovated and very clean room. Is now buoyed with confidence and goes to the bar. The bar is far from neat. Completely cold and impersonal. On the outside you have to look for a clean chair. Apparently no one on staff cares. Again very nice staff in the bar. New day and I try the breakfast. Great! However, the noise level is far too high. Very nice staff. Checking out. Again very nice staff. A hotel that is full of contradictions and that with small funds would undoubtedly be worth a 4. We'll see if we see each other again.

Nathan Doyle

Absolutely loved it here and will definitely be back.Checking in and out was a breeze. Room was nice and clean with a lovely patio area outside. Full use of all the facilities in this beautiful resort. Food and drink was excellent, definitely doing all inclusive on our next stay. The location was ideal with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants around, and the beach directly facing the resort.Staff were incredible. Honestly can't say enough good things about this place!

Rahul Kanda

Took a 6 month old baby and had a good experience. Indoor pool was great, but constantly battled with younger kids creating a havoc (given smaller children were using this pool, a life guard on attendance would have been good). Outdoor pools were impeccably cold but as for the rest of the facilities, very child friendly.

Candice Arhin

Stayed here for 7 nights , a very beautiful hotel with a great location. The rooms were cleaned every day and towels changed every day. The entertainment was good on 3/6 nights . Food was alright - some things were really tasty but most of the cooked meat from the grill was raw . You have to pay extra for drinks at dinner . I loved the daily sessions they had to offer including the yoga and Pilates. The indoor swimming pool was very clean and warm.Lots of places for seating but nothing really for kids in the off peak times . The beach is within walking distance . No drinking water provided was upsetting and had to pay €14 for kettle and tea .

Farzad Yousefzadeh

I wouldn't recommend this hotel.Overall, it felt disappointing and very poor value for money.Good stuff first. The location is very near the beach. Lots of food options around. Finding a taxi to go to the city or sightseeing is fairly easy. There's also a game room in the Hotel that our son liked very much. The pools are great. Outdoor pools were good only when there was sun. Because they're not heated, they tend to be cold most of the day outside June, July and August. Indoor pool and jacuzzi were also good. However 👇The rooms aren't clean at all. First day, after they cleaned the room and when we got back to our room, we noticed that the sheets weren't changed but just swapped. So they took the top sheet which is usually the one that gets very dirty and dusty on the bed as the main sheet and swapped the orders. We called the reception like 3 times, so they finally sent someone during the evening (imagine we called in the morning and 2 times more during the day). When the cleaner came, she started objecting that everything is clean and refused to clean again. Even called the reception to complain. That's when I showed her lots of stains and dirt on the sheet, and only then she accepted to change the sheets. We stayed there for 9 nights and every day, this was the story of their cleaning.Even the first day we got to our room for the first time, there was hair and stains on the sheets. They either don't mop the floor or do it with dirty water. They don't seem to vacuum the floor, either. There were no slippers in the room, no toothbrushes and no boiler to make tea or coffee. You'd expect a 4 start hotel to include those basic amenities.I don't know why, but while we were there, the hotel was like 95% full of people over 50 years old. All activities and even restaurant food seemed to be for older people. They also rent you pool towels, but there's no place to dry them in the room or in the hotel facilities. They posted tips here and there that you're not supposed to dry them in the room's balcony either because it hurt the hotel's facade! Therefore, you'll have to be charged per day to dry towels. The pool was good, but the indoor pool's water wasn't as clean and transparent as you'd expect. We also asked for a pair of cutlery for our son once, and they refused to provide it. Our room was on the 8th floor and didn't have any noise cancellation of any sort, meaning you could hear the bar or the street.

HONEST review as of May 2024 - I did have a nice vacation, but I would not recommend the hotel to anyone.Out of 9 people I traveled with, each and every one had stomach issues at some point. It is not a coincidence, especially that some reviews of other people mention food poisoning.. Everyone experienced symptoms of nausea, throwing up etc. This made me very careful with food for the last two days, I ate boring things, today the smell of sandwich made me just throw it away.I am not a picky eater at all but the food really disappointed me, my dinners were pizza and fries only. The staff was very friendly except one lady that seemed bothered with us so we didn’t wanna ask her any further questions. Also it would be nice for a person working in a hotel to know basic English, as the lady in the SPA reception didn’t understand me at all.I also didn’t like the fact that room cards keep breaking down, during one week we had to go about 3 times to get them fixed, even if they are kept in the same bag as electronic device they stop working.Rooms were clean but I’d appreciate the regular bedding as we had to sleep under strange blankets from the wardrobe as there was literally no duvet, as if it was so hot we were to sleep covered with nothing (but the rooms were on the colder side). What I appreciated were the views, sea view rooms are very worth it, beach is very close too.The hotel’s pool was enjoyable as well. All in all, I think the hotel should improve. I did have nice time regardless, but this was my lesson to pick a 5* hotel next time. Especially the food - it plays a big role in the vacation experience in my opinion.

Hansy Dhaese

This hotel exceeded our expectations from the moment we stepped into the reception. The staff was incredibly helpful and set the tone for a great vacation. The rooms were spacious, and the bathroom was a nice addition, although the lack of a toilet brush was a minor drawback. However, the breathtaking view more than made up for it.The daily cleaning service ensured that the rooms were always fresh and tidy, with a beautifully made bed to relax in after a long day.The restaurant offered an extensive selection of dishes to suit everyone's tastes, and the table service was excellent. Hygiene was a priority, which reassured us during dining. In the bar, we were pleasantly surprised by the all-inclusive package, with a wide choice of branded drinks and fast service. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel truly welcome.Overall, this hotel is definitely recommended. You get value for your money, with decent service and good value for money. The only minor downside was the lack of a heated outdoor pool, but that didn't detract from the enjoyment.

aleksander czerwonka

We have no complaints about the hotel. The service is always nice and helpful. The food varies depending on who likes what. We chose the breakfast and dinner options. I'm a bit surprised that drinks, such as water and juices with dinner, are paid for - this is the hotel's policy - but the prices are normal. Close to shops, beach and bus stops. The rooms are generally clean, maybe they forget to clean under the beds. Towels and bed linen are changed regularly. If someone comes only to relax on the beach, they should be satisfied by the hotel swimming pool. The hotel organizes a party for guests every day.

We've only stayed in the hotel a short while as we were attending a wedding. The hotel has stunning views of the sea and the hills on the other side. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. A specially Barbara, the hotel spa hairdresser. I didn't have time to go hairdressers at home before we left, and Barbara was able to slot me in at the last minute. Thank you, Barbara. Excellent hair cut.Rooms in the hotel were spacious with a balcony with a sea view.We were very happy with our stay in the Best Benalmadena hotel.Thank you.

Catherine Corcoran

We are just home after 6 nights and both myself and my husband got stomach bugs/ virus so 3 days were wiped out! The food was awful! Our hotel room door was open (not unlocked but fully open) on several occasions when we came back from our day out. The shower absolutely saturated the complete floor - more like a wet room and we only got one towel between us on one of the days! Definitely wouldn’t recommend this hotel- very disappointing!

Would give 6 stars if possible, hotel was clean throughout. Stayed for one week room was a good size with fridge included for free nice balcony with sea views, entertainment good, pools were a bit cold but expected for this time of year. Did not have any problems with sickness and we ate at the hotel 6 nights out of 7 and breakfast every day and we were both fine. The food exceeded our expectations well varied and really good. Steaks, roasted meats(carvery style) half chicken, paella, Chinese, curry, Spanish dishes, amongst other international food. Dessert was plentiful and an ice cream bar too. Hotel staff were happy, pleasant and attentive. Overall very happy with our stay. And would gladly stay here again.Thank you Ibersol Torremolinos Beach.

I had a wonderful time at this hotel! Its prime location made it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. The service was exceptional, with attentive staff ensuring that every need was met. The food options were not only delicious but also included healthy choices. The hotel offers great value for money, considering the level of service and amenities provided. Moreover, the cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, adding to the overall positive experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay."

We had a lovely stay here for 4 nights recently - really loved our room, sea view +.The food was great, we weren’t sure what to expect but were really happy with it, also the drinks. The hotel was relatively quiet which suited us.The location was ideal for us too & made use of the beach.Lovely pool area.Would go back !

We stayed here for a week, unfortunately! Both myself and my partner got SEVERE food poising on the third day of our stay eating exclusively here. The hotel was incredibly unhelpful, all inclusive is a complete rip off and they lie about what all inclusive provides. However most important of all- you WILL GET SICK if you stay and eat here.I thought I’d have to take my partner to hospital due to how awful it was! Serious vomiting and diarrhoea. We could not leave our room for 4 days and I spent my time here cleaning it up. We couldn’t wait to go home! That’s how awful it was!I emailed the hotel directly to let them know of this and they didn’t bother to reply. SERIOUSLY DO NOT STAY HERE!

Danielle Gilkes

This was a very last minute unexpected stay for us and the staff were excellent at accommodating us. They were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel and our room was spotless and couldn't be faulted. We had a sea view and a delicious breakfast the next morning

Clean hotel, good location. Just back and found it to be very busy - we have two young kids and I know the hotel can not always control guests behaviour but it was very rowdy during our stay with a lot of foul language etc at the kids pool from guests with too much drink. Also rush in mornings to put towels on loungers. Would not recommend here if you want a relaxing holiday. Also we stayed on floor 5 very noisy with the night shows which I found were too late for kids at 10pm! Would expect to see outdoor evening shows at earlier time. Also when we arrived was a smell of smoke in our corridor obviously guests smoke in their rooms and not just normal tobacco…a shame as this is a nice facility in a prime location.

Stayed in the sunset beach last October 2023 and I am just recently back from 10 days of staying at sunset beach from (10th-20th May) Travelled with my wife and two kids one 20 months and the other 4 years. The best thing about the hotel is the view and location, the hotel on our recent stay was very busy and loud and sometimes felt overcrowded or to capacity. Different people have very different ideas of holidays but I found lots of parents of young kids drinking alcohol bought from the nearby supermarket at very early hours of the mornings at their sun loungers, (10:30am to be specific) Also different areas of the pool having their own personal speakers on quiet loud which can easily cause tension between other guests. I feel the pool areas are a great asset but need to be policed better by staff for the safety of young children also not a fan of claiming sun loungers with towels, as this takes the relaxing atmosphere away from your holidays. Unfortunately the drinking would then result in possible arguments or antisocial behaviour in the afternoon/evening time, not ideal when your 20 month child needs a day time nap or even at night. I was woken by the sound of an argument that went on for a good hour one night, which seem to tell me that the staff or security have no handle on situations like this. The hotel seems to be trying to stretch its identity of been a family hotel for kids but happy to serve drink all day to certain guests. Unfortunately the hotel feels like a city street at times (areas of it are that busy) where something may kick off at any time. During our recent stay we took time to visit another hotel which we will visit later this year, as I seems a lot quieter and more private. I didn’t eat once in the hotel so can’t rate the food. I did find the staff very friendly and attentive, but felt for them as they had their work cut out having to deal with holiday makers who have let themselves down by getting carried away.

What a peach of a hotel. It has everything. Comfy beds, a hair salon, a kids club, a cinema, a laundry. I could go in for ever. We went for my brother's wedding and to be honest we would have loved a few extra days. The pools were very clean and there was a poolside restaurant. The beach was only 100 steps away and it was very central to all the shops bars and restaurants. The only thing that disappointed was that the price of drinks in the hotel was almost the same as home. The bedrooms were very clean with room service every day. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone with young kids bits a 10 out of 10 from me

Been able to enjoy this place my whole life, since 1989 and it feels like home to me. Even though different management companies, it always keeps its essence. Food, animation, location, views, restaurants and attractions walking distance… it has it all. Big thank you to all the staff.

Kelly Dempsey

I could spend hours talking about how great this hotel was. Absolutely loved it. I would recommend this. Its great for couples and from what I could see family's too. Tonnes of activities. Plenty of restaurants and the pools were great. You will not want to come home.

In summary I would that that it was comfortable and spacious room at a fair price. The room was large and comfortable. The hotel has good facilities, beautiful garden and swimming pool area. Good quality buffet breakfast with plenty of options. You can continue to use the hotel facilities and parking on the day after checkout which was handy for me as had to work from remote with my laptop. Here the no so good things. The main one was that the room carpets were very tired and old and the room smelled a little to tobacco. Another issue was that on busy hours internet can be slow and was not able to work from remote.

Loved our stay here, hotel was lovely, all areas of it were really nice, lounge area, dining rooms, outside areas around the pool and other little garden areas, very nice hotel.. The rooms were great, and we had an amazing view from the 6th floor!! The breakfast was very good, a HUGE choice of things to eat, always fresh and really good! Location was perfect for us, no more than 10min walk to the beach and around the same to the main town center for shops, loads of restaurants and pubs etc...

Just come back from this hotel , it has the potential of being a great find ! The rooms are very dated and the mattresses are so uncomfortable , and the sun beds are just so uncomfortable and worn out ! The food was reasonable and you wouldn’t go hungry ! The staff are great friendly and smart , 10 minute walk from the sea front with lovely beaches , nice pool area and bar ! So replace the sun beds and mattresses and update the rooms and this hotel would be top notch !! Having said that would return , the staff are great especially Laura !!

Luke Mair

The worst hotel I have ever been in.Gym equipment missing, room was small and uncomfortable. Staff were rude and couldn’t care less. People were sat on the floor when watching dreadful evening entertainment as not enough seats. Location is poor as there’s nothing around you. Could hear everything in my room so sleep was lacking. Could hear next doors tv, anyone in the corridor and the staff aren’t exactly quiet at 6am. Absolutely dreadful!

BarSkyy

I am extremely disappointed with my stay. My wireless headphones were stolen from my room, and despite clearly identifying the housekeeper responsible, the hotel failed to take any action. Similarly, my friends experienced thefts by the cleaning staff as well. This lack of response and accountability from the hotel management is unacceptable.

This hotel we stayed in was clean, tidy and you can tell the staff there are working super hard. The only thing was, all 4 lifts were dodgy, one broke down twice while we were there. Also the food wasn't up to scratch. The eggs weren't cooked properly, burnt underneath and completely raw on top. Not much choice for dessert, only mousse, yoghurt and ice-cream usually. A lot of the food was questionable. Either over cooked, under cooked or just tasted off. All the fish they serve is absolutely full of bones. It's very, very cheap food. We went all inclusive but we couldn't eat a lot of the time there so had to eat out unfortunately. Everything else was good. Clean, nice, friendly. They need to improve the standard of food. Use higher quality ingredients.

Craig Long

We was worried at first after reading the reviews but we needn't of been. Room was a bit dated with very noisy fridge. But the large balcony and sea view made up for it. Food was nice but got sick of eating it by the end of week and canteen was very busy. Evening entertainment was OK.. the hotel dose cater/look after the French more. Staff work there socks off. Especially the cleaners..pools was good but to small for the amount of people there..we would definitely go again.

Just got back today from a 1 week all inclusive stop here.We had 2 rooms between 4 people, both rooms were great. They were cleaned daily to a very high standard. The food was good, there was a large selection offered at all meal times, I wasn't really a fan of the breakfast but no one else in my party had any complaints there. Dinner and Tea time were both good, a large selection every day as well as mixing up the offerings daily which is always good to have. The soup in particular was flawless everyday, every new option was continuously done perfectly and always piping hot. The pool bar which offers snacks during the hours the main restaurant isn't open was very good. It has a small selection of food for you to choose from, but its cooked fresh right in front of you and was always very tasty. The hotel is in a great location right across from the beach, you can walk all the way up the front straight from the hotel and there is also a bus top literally right outside the hotel boundary if needed. The main pool area was large, we only spent one day directly at the pool and had no problem securing beds midday. The staff were always friendly, bar service was fairly quick for the most part but sometimes an extra staff member could have helped. There's a system in place for pouring your own drinks during the day which the pool bar has here which is very good, all all inclusive hotels should have this. I can't speak much for the entertainment as its not really something I take advantage of when I'm away but they all seemed very nice and they're a sizeable team! The only issue I could point out at this hotel is the lifts in the main building, maybe I have been lucky in the past but I've never had the wait times for lifts anywhere else like I had here. Sometimes it would be fine and quick but regularly you could be stuck waiting 3-5 minutes if you're in a group.I would definitely recommend this hotel though and would happily stay here again!

I am on my 4th trip to this hotel it is AMAZING. I have one more trip booked this year year and many planned. The Entertainment staff are the making of this hotel they are funny so entertaining and friendly there is always something to do. The rooms and food are great and in such a lovely location near the beach gear for families and all ages

Jamie C

Second visit to this excellent hotel. Andalusian room great size with separate bedroom / living room with balcony.Entertainment staff seem enthusiastic but not overbearing (special mention to Diego).Food of a good standard and lots of variety, something for everyone.Location fantastic - ten minutes from Malaga airport by taxi, beach literally just down the road. Twenty or so minutes stroll to torremilinos town so far away enough to be in a quiet area but not too far should you want to hit the bars in the town. But as the drinks are free on site then why would you?Pools nice and clean, although still a little cold in late May.Staff all brilliant, any issues dealt with promptly and right first time.Looking forward to going again. 👍🏻🌞

Absolutely amazing! The hotel is spotless, food delicious whether you are breakfast only or half board both are worth in value, stone throw from marina, cross the road to a beautiful beach. 3 areas for lazing, rooftop pool a bit blowy when windy though, great grass area. There are always plenty of beds. Only left this morning, we all said it was fabulous and definitely return. Adult only great for the golfers.

Wendy Hawthorne

A fantastic hotel. Staff were all so friendly. When we checked in we were told we had been upgraded. Our room and view was amazing. Thank you Alay. Situated in great location. Food good and varied. I would highly recommend this hotel and will stay again in the future.

Debra M

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Friendly staff and good facilities. The room was always cleaned well.Very good location near to the beach and marina. (A little noisy in the evenings for people that want an early night!)

debbie hastings

It was a lovely time spent at the hotel, great location, staff where very helpful, breakfast selection was amazing. It was very clean. My only negative thing was no kettle in room, had to buy one as we like a coffee on balcony in the morning and evening.I have booked to come again next year as it was such a lovely experience.

Lauren Jenns

I would definitely return to this hotel! It was so clean and modern. The room was cleaned everyday. Towels were given for us to take to the beach with no deposit needed. Staff were lovely and the food was great. They could do with adding some more drinks to the menu but all was still good! They did tell me they’d leave a bottle of fizz in the room as it was my partners birthday but unfortunately they didn’t end up doing that. Nevertheless I will definitely be returning.

We stayed here for a week recently and absolutely loved our time here. The hotel is always so clean and tidy, staff are lovely. The room was a lovely size, shower was amazing, very powerful.I was worried about the all inclusive food as I am gluten free, but there was such a wide selection of food for all meals and a very handy label on all the food detailing ingredients so allergens are easily avoided. The pools are so lovely but very cold!Views from this hotel are so beautiful! We would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family and would stay here again happily.

Ian Cottrell

Great Hotel. Good sized rooms that were well maintained and clean. Excellent restaurant facilities with a very good choice of food. Friendly and helpful reception staff. If there was one improvement to be made, it would be the bar facilities. There is nothing wrong with the bar staff, who worked really hard, but the one bar can't really cope with the number of guests - as the queues every night confirmed. Also, if you like your red wine at room temperature, you'll have to pay for it as the all-inclusive is served chilled from the tap like the rose and white wines 🤦‍♂️

Rita Taylor

We are currently staying in this hotel and are very happy with all aspects. The room is large with a sea view and sun on the terrace all morning. Room bedding and towels cleaned/ changed every day. Very very large comfortable bed and great shower. Food is very good with something for all tastes at each meal. Snacks at Pool bar all day are good. All staff are very pleasant from reception, cleaning, entertainment, bar and waitresses too. A very clean well kept hotel. Plenty of sun beds and towels available but outdoor pools too cold in March.

Colette O'Mahony

This hotel is one of the best I have ever stayed in. It has anything you would want. We are all inclusive which was brilliant value, you can have as much snacks throughout the day as you want, as much drinks and the quality of food in the buffets is very high compared to other hotels I’ve been in. You can request specific dishes in the buffet in different areas for example pizza or pasta dishes. The food does kind of get a bit repetitive especially from lunch to dinner. The drink in the dining area isn’t great, with both wine and beer on draught. The food can be sometimes cold but nevertheless it’s still lovely , especially dinner when they have themed nights. The only downfall I have for this hotel is the limited bars. There was only one bar for nighttime which caused big queues. The hotel is quite far out from Benalmádena centre being a 45 minute walk or 10 minute taxi costing around 9.50 euros. There is a supermarket nearby which is big enough. The complex is amazing , there’s a lovely spa where you can get treatments such as hair, nails and massages done. There’s a big indoor jacuzzi , sauna , steam room and pool ( swimming hats needed). And there is 3 adult pools 2 being adults only and one near the kids pool. This complex is just amazing and I would definitely come back here again!

Alan Thompson

The staff are lovely and that's about it. On the most part this is a massive let down. The pool areas are dangerous. The tiled flooring is lethal, daily children and adults are slipping and getting head injuries. The floor surface is fine when dry but getting out of a pool with wet feet is like going ice skating with the Grim Reaper. Just a matter of time before you fall and smash your skull on the razor sharp ledges. Even if you manage to get some balance then the loosely fitted white plastic pool grills will collapse under you or trip you up.This will all happen just in time for the hotel staff to parade a line of french tourists round watch. The food is over complicated and poorly executed. Ok for adults with big bellies and no taste buds but for children there's not a lot going for them apart from chips and Icecream. The burned paella and cheap frozen seafood is an insult to Spanish cuisine. The poolside entertainment is good and drinks generally cold and a good selection. The hotel clearly doesn't respect it's guests tho. I had a do not disturb hanger on the room door and still the cleaning team just let themselves in to do as they please in the room. The room are generally clean and tidy and most have stunning views of the local area and sea. However a cup of tea in your room will cost 50cents and the towels are barely big enough to cover one butt cheek. The air con only had two settings sub sero or sweat box hot.The grass areas are well kept and there's is enough pool side seating. Ideally this hotel needs to be adults only as it's really not safe for excited children trying to enjoy their holiday. Location is ok and within 20 mins walking area there are many bars and restaurants to enjoy. This is a good thing as the hotel food will drive you away to eat else where.

The hotel is 4 stars, but I'd give it 3.The food choices were many, but the quality of the food wasn't great. The rooms were decent, but the walls were paper-thin, which really sucked as you could hear your neighbours from every side doing everything. The bath shares a shaft with the neighbours and when they do n2, you can smell it in your room -pretty awful. The hotel is quite crowded and usually if you have breakfast/lunch/dinner in the usual hours 90% are elderly people and it's difficult to get food because of the crammed restaurant.Coffee is terrible.

Eleonora Gudkova

The hotel is located in a very good spot. Loads of shops and restaurants, main Fuengirola beach 5min walk. Those people who have rated this hotel for 4* I think this was their first experience whatsoever... I definitely can't give it 4* or more! hotel has a nice and quiet rest area and inside pool ( need swimming hats if looking to use it)6: expensive ice cream and juice ( if self-catering or half board)

Very nice and very well kept old gem. Very friendly and motivated staff. Delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner served every day.

LOVELY HOTEL ON THE EDGE OF LOS BOLICHES ITS SECOND ROW FROM THE FRONT ,BUT YOU DO HAVE TO CROSS A MAIN ROAD IT LIES BACK OFF THE ROAD SO NO ROAD NOISE ,BIG ROOMS CUMFY BED 3 MINS FROM TORREBLANCA STATION SUITE COUPLES AND OLDER PEOPLE FOOD GOOD SELECTION WELL WORTH TRYING THIS HOTEL PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A QUIET AREA SO NOT SUITED FOR ALL BUT VERY GOOD RAIL AND BUS CONNECTIONS VERY NEAR BY .

Dirk van den Berg

This hotel isn't worth the 4 stars. The room: overall bad. There were ants on my walls, the wooden floor was cracked at the bathroom. The balconydoor had no lever outside, so in case you stept outside you ran the risk of locking yourself out.The rooms are noisy. I could hear people in adjacent rooms, next to me or under/above me on an almost daily/nightly basis. The bathroom was worse. The lightswitch was located behind the powercord to the hairdryer, the shower had no curtain, only a partial glass wall, so after each shower the floor was partly flooded. The toilet is situated so that you touch the hanging towels while sitting on it.The food was even worse. No distinction between meat and vegetarian, the food was often already cold, the seafood often stale and the broccoli sometimes undercooked. The drinks were evenly bad. Only at breakfast a good choice, for lunch and dinner only water or wine available. Beer had to be payed for separately. The only positive note I have is about the restaurant staff. Very nice people.

this hotel is outstanding in every way. Total unspoiled area of Fuengirola a very special place. Hotel is super clean, amazing food fantastic all inclusive best I have stayed in.Friendliest helpful staff. this hotel is in a perfect location 3 pools so close to beach. would benefit from one heated pool. The only criticism nothing to do with hotel is the airport was a horrendous experience having to que for an hour and a half carrying a baby was so bad. then we would have had to wait another hour and half for hotel transfer with Jet2 my advice get a taxi €30-40 there in 25 mins.

ashik ali

Ideally located. Room was cleaned daily. Good variety of food. We stayed all inclusive. Small pool. Right next to the beach max 7 minutes walk. Staff were friendly and helpful. Right next to Torreblanca train station. Lots of shops nearby. Really good restaurant on the beachside.

Kerry Garratt

It was an OK hotel with lovely rooms, but very average food and little selection during the day. Staff weren't particularly friendly.

Ligita Locmele

The room is big. But the trash can is small and 1 pc. There are no air conditioners at all (ventilation can be said not to work). No air changes in the toilet, all "aromas" remain indoors. The cleaning of the rooms is at a low level - they change the towels and clean out the only trash that has been in the house for a week - the dust hasn't been swept, the floors haven't been washed, even though we left a sign on the door. Dust under the beds, it feels like it hasn't been cleaned for months (shoes had slipped underneath)

Joanna Edmonds

Just back from a week here and thought the hotel was v.nice. my room was spacious with a great view - cleaning lady was great wanted to clean every day ! People seemed to b cleaning all over. - breakfast more than adequate- didn't eat at night. Reception friendly hotel set in nice grounds. Children's pool was closed for work but adult one was fine. Hotel is right outside the train station but you don't hear anything. Yes the hotel is up a bit of a hill but only for 5mins- v close to beach and shops. Would go again.

Amazing holiday!! I was a bit skeptical because of the reviews on this hotel BUT I do not have one complaint, the rooms are beautiful, the food was amazing! To the point where me and my partner would rather eat at the hotel, staff were very friendly, the jumbo club staff for activities in particular were great!! The entertainment was great, the jumbo club staff member made the effort all day!! Included all ages and NEVER a dull moment! Drinks were also great, loads of choice! Everything outside was also so clean and tidy we couldn’t of enjoyed it anymore!! We will definitely be back soon!!

Connor Hawksworth

We just finished staying here and had a great time. The rooms are big and we took our 7 month old baby. I emailed the hotel to ask if we could get a travel cot and they put one in the room before we arrived which was nice. Kettle is in the room and there is a microwave available near the bar. Our room had a bath with a removable shower so was good for baby. The only issue is you have to go up a few stairs to the restaurant and bar so needed to lift the pram up but they have lifts to get everywhere else. They even put a bottle of water safe for babies in our fridge in the room. The food options are really good not sure why people moan about it. Unless you are a really picky eater you won't struggle to find good food although some breakfast options aren't amazing but for the price I was really impressed. Never had an issue getting sunbeds with a shade. The hotel though is mainly aimed for french guests with the entertainment etc but staff speak English so don't let it put you off. The all inclusive beer is San Miguel and the co*cktails are nice. The bar staff are really friendly aswell. We were really impressed with the stay considering it was reasonably priced.

Jarlath Dean

Staff were generally excellent, in particular the entertainment and bar staff. All inclusive drinks were v nice, and service was always extremely quick and friendly.Entertainment staff were all brilliant throughout, in particular Calvin.Receptionist was the only unwelcoming member of staff, which is quite unfortunate, considering she is by definition 'front of house'.Food was good too with a wide variety.Room was very nice, with a comfy bed. However, the only criticism was the bathroom was dated, and not entirely functional. The toilet didn't flush upon arrival, however, the staff fixed it immediately, once the problem was raised.Would definitely recommend the hotel, however, the area surrounding it wasn't overly lively at night.

Jo Pitchford

Brilliant hotel. Usual issues with sunbeds - simply not enough for size of hotel. Great air con in rooms - our room on 6th floor overlooking road was good. Powerful shower and a 10/15 min walk from choice of bars / shops. No complaints over food and drink .

Gemma Pellow

I'll review in as much detail as poss :)My sister and I booked this hotel last minute through a Jet 2 package holiday. We read the reviews and were unsure as very mixed but are aware most people are just generally fussy and complain about the slightest thing 🙄 (cringe)As soon as we entered the hotel we were pleased to see a little shop in the hotel (and also one just across the road)We were greeted straight away by a very friendly host of the hotel. The man behind reception was also very happy and helpful. We arrived around 12:30pm, was told our rooms may not be ready untill around 2pm (which was fine, as most places have a check in time anyway dont they?)As it was, our room was ready so headed straight up to our room.Lifts were very small, but it is what it is, did it make a difference to our stay? Nope! Infact it made it slightly humorous. We did manage to get 2 of us and 4 suitcases in there, so not too bad.Our room was AMAZING, brand new feel, clean, light and airy, we had a balcony overlooking the green area with sunbeds next to the pool area which was fab, as we could suss out how busy it was.Meal times are on a little board outside of the restaurant, food was fantastic, fresh and tasty, always something nice to have, they have a fresh cooking station each meal time, and an Italian corner with pizza etcChuffed they had Fanta lemon on tap 😍 along with Fanta orange, co*ke, co*ke zero, sprite etc, wine, beer, tea coffee, hot choc. Also 24hrs a day you can help yourself to all of these drinks and a selection of sandwiches (not the best, but absolutely better than nothing) yoghurts and fresh fruit. The bar by the pool during the day does cooked food, crisps, sandwiches, ice creams etc. Slushie machine aswell! Which is great with a vodka 😁The pool area is kept immaculate and they have a fab system with someone patrolling the pool area, on the hour, if you aren't at your beds (gone off for lunch) a cone will be put on your bed, if then after an hour and a half you are still not back, your towels get taken off and becomes free. Which is good for those bed hoggers who don't even sit by the pool but decide to reserve a bed anyway??The pool is pretty cold! But nice and refreshing if your boiling hot.The entertainment team are fab, and very friendly, take the time to get to know you and involve you.Evening entertainment was a bit questionable but we also took into consideration we went in Oct so I doubt it's as good as it is in the height of summer. We found walking down the hill by the side of the hotel took us straight to the beachfront (about 6/7 min walk) and lots of shops, restaurants. We decided to go to the beach a few more days, not because we didnt want to be at the hotel, but because we wanted to swim in the sea, and seemed to get more of a tan at the beach. It was €7 for a sun lounger for the day which has a big mattress on it (these were more comfy than the beds around the pool)All the staff were super friendly, we were very sad to leave and would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful location between Sotogrande and Manilva. Uphill from the coast, so amazing views of the coast and Gibraltar. Meals are buffet style. Lots of choice and good quality. House wine and co*cktails at reasonable prices. The restaurant staff were very helpful. The reception staff were not very welcoming as they didn't greet us and seemed preoccupied by their computer systems.

Ojora Babatunde

A vacation I wished didn’t come to an end. Would have been much better if we went with a car. Uber drivers couldn’t locate the resort on 3/4 different occasions. Overall, we had a nice time there.

Hannah Reed

Rundown on the inside. Apartment kitchen was totally falling apart - broken fridge, broken wine bottle opener, foot panel fell off whenever opening & closing dishwasher. Filthy in places.Beside that , it's good setup for families with many activities and events and the pool view of the sea and Gibraltar that makes it worth it.

Soulla Mao

Quite a lot of apartments, ours had a lovely view of Gibraltar. We were all impressed with the deal we got, rooms were very big, clean, fresh towels weekly and you can just ask reception if you need anything ie hairdryer abd kettle. They were very accommodating. The location is genuinely rural, quiet, and out of the way, but every night that had some sort of entertainment, it was really good, especially for kids. The beach is a 15 minute walk away, the shuttle bus is no longer available but the walk is absolutely fine. The pools are great, shallow and deep section available, bar, terrace and restaurant, all pretty good.

Manchester & Bolton Osteopathic Clinic

I wouldn’t say there was anything wrong with this place really. The accommodation was clean and well presented but everything looked a bit tired. Could definitely have done with a lick of paint and a bit of filler for some rather obvious cracks in the walls.Kitchenette was basic, it was only possible to self-cater by borrowing things from the second apartment we rented.Definitely could switch the salad spinner for a toaster and the kettle was borderline dangerous when it worked - no on-off switch, just on when plugged in and it seemed to take forever to boil.Otherwise it was in a good location and you could get all the necessities in the little shop. Staff were polite and helpful when we needed to interact.Basically it was good enough, I’d probably not go back, not because there was anything specifically bad, but there are so many more places in the world to visit and for the price, I expect we could get something a little fresher, a little better.Only real bug-bear was the loud kids party going on most nights til late just outside our window. I get that culturally, we’re the odd-ones out, with our children going to bed ~8-9pm but it did go on a bit.

I was looking for a quiet place during low season and far from crowds. The hotel met my expectations. The breakfast was sufficient. The sea view never failed to impress.A bus ride to Malaga centre may take up to one hour depending on traffic.

Janna Lehmustuuli

Air-conditioned room featuring a terrace with city views. Satellite TV, a minibar, a safe and free Wi-Fi. Private bathroom includes a hairdryer and a bathtub or shower. What more could one possibly need?Enjoy breakfast (7-11) on the sunny side of the building with direct view to beach and rolling waves, lunch, quick siesta drink, and dinner on the promenade between the main street and the sea, and a variety of bars opening only for the night just 50-500m from the hotel along the shoreline. Note that cafes are named as bars, and churros are only served past 16. The main street quiets down past midnight for a chance of great sleep.Fast 30min walking access from here to Cueva del Tesoro (Treasure Cave), unique in the whole Europe region. Top tips also to see Caminito del Rey (The King's Little Pathway), refurbished for safe public access (mandatory paid tickets include insurance) to one of most known prev. dangerous walking pathways on cliff sides with spectacular views. Be super early with prebooking as shared bus trips both from Rincón de la Victoria and Malaga City sell out quickly for weeks. Nearest tourist office located within 200m from hotel, helpful and kind staff.Safe for women traveling alone. For English speakers; recommended to learn a few basic phrases in Spanish, numbers 1-10, and difference between small/medium/large.Hope you enjoy! :)

Amazing hotel some of the kindest and friendliest staff who really go out of their way if you need something. Our room was spotless and amazing view of the sea. Breakfast buffet was 10/10!! We asked to extend our room by a few hours due to a late night flight and they accommodated us perfectly and for a good price! Pool area is absolutely gorgeous and one of the cleanest pools I’ve ever been to. I left my sunglasses on the side of the pool and asked the next day at the reception and they were super quick to call the maintenance / cleaners and they handed me back my sunglasses within a few minutes, really going out of their way for something minor which we greatly appreciated!! Restaurant and bar are reasonably priced and lovely food and drinks, definitely recommend. So close to the sea and only a 15 minute walk to the main town. Highly recommend this hotel we were looking to book as soon as possible to come back! Refurbishment is taking place in opposite building but barely any noise and no bother to us. Thanks again!!

Carol Roberts

The Perla Marina is a lovely hotel. Spotlessly clean, rooms are airy, contain a fridge (great bonus), the beds are very comfortable and the food is delicious (although could be a little hotter when kept on the buffet counter...no complaints really though). The staff are all so friendly and helpful and the whole place has a really "homely" yet upmarket feel. Ideally situated for us as we like the Torrecilla end of Nerja. We love this hotel. .

Actually, this is an old, but nice hotel. It is understandable that they renovate it. What I do not understand is that there is no information about the renovations beforehand. The main building is closed and there is a lot of noise, already from 8 in the morning to evening. The rooftop with chairs is dirty. The breakfast is average. Staff is nice, but there was no offer for the inconveniences. At least, they should offer discount for the services not available

Aaron Duncan

Nice hotel and good food, huge tv in rooms and the renovations really helped, the pillows need the be better tho, both me and my partner have come away with stiff necks

kate murran

Location is great in this hotel looking right over the beach. There is 2 pools. Staff are very friendly and they dropped me a bottle of cava to my room for my birthday which was lovely. Restaurant is very busy and staff are working extremely hard. We waited ages for orders and to pay but you could see they needed more waiting staff. We loved being able to order drinks and take them to the beach. Rooms are very clean. They could do with an update but they are clean and spacious. We paid more for a sea view and it's worth it.

For GBP 100 a night, it provides excellent value for money. The view overlooking the courtyard and onto the horizon is very pleasing. The staff were very attentive; Christ, everyone flocked to Jesus and Nemesis. The shower jet strength was satisfactory. I found the orientation of the bar in the bedroom cupboard a little odd, I think it should be rotated by 90 degrees to be parallel with the wall. The hotel was clean. The floor tiles in the reception area are very pretty. I would definitely recommend it.

We were super happy as we could have Hazel with us, got a nice enough room downstairs with access to the back and out easy enough, only to do a wee of course. We went exploring some side roads and found some fabulous scenery! Access and parking was quite easy as the hotel is off a roundabout and leaving the outdoor covered parking you're straight into the road, ideal. The hotel has stunning outdoor areas and a gym, we looked in but didn't linger. Ate some bar food and freaked out when were charged 4 euro per bottle of Alhambra..

Beautiful region of Southern Spain. This hotel is staffed with superior people. Always available to assist. The rooms are European, smaller but efficiently arranged. Baths are small, clean and in good condition.

Seanie

This hotel is beautiful and it is in an amazing and quiet area. Staff are very friendly especially Jesus at reception. The outdoor pool was closed when we were there which is shame, but overall a very nice experience. Highly recommended.

It said a four star hotel but with plain room utilities.Anyway it’s a beautiful villa if you just want to have a silent and peaceful place.

Firstly I was dubious if it was a 4 star hotel , and now I can tell you it felt like a 5 star hotel .The cleanliness and the facilities alone are amazing .Fantastic buffet breakfast but why let’s it down is the all inclusive buffet dinner .Rooms were comfortable and well looked after by cleaning staff .Unfortunately none of the 4 pools were open when we were here possibly as it was early in the year and a bit cooler , but we could sunbathe .Only 50m from the beach .I would recommend and I will be back .

This hotel is great for family holidays. Located on the beach, 10 minutes in a taxi to the airport. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Fab activities for kids and adults. Very clean and well serviced rooms. Food in the hotel was cooked fresh and very tasty.

Daniel Dunn

Me and my partner have really enjoyed staying here. It’s a lovely place! All staff members are absolutely amazing except 1 person in particular but I’ll get to that in a minute.I would have given it 5 stars in total but there was a couple of things we didn’t really like about it. One was the swimming pools are closed and the outside bar was closed. Only the inside bar was open which sometimes made it hard to get a drink because it was quite busy. The bar staff were very friendly except 1 woman who was very rude at times so when we saw she was on the bar we’d sometimes wait for another bar staff member to come on to get a drink. We understand it’s in February so it’s not as hot so that’s why the pools and outside bars ain’t open. But 20-22 Degrees I thought that’s hot enough to open the outside bar at least. We have no doubt in our minds that in august or summer time here is absolutely amazing with everything open. And we shall definitely be returning again around those times. We also met some other people on holiday here and made some friends out of it. Thank you Sol principe for a lovely holiday

Not a 4 star hotel. Our room had one outlet! Everything in the rooms are very old. The food is very bad, especially meat. The food is very americanized. As other reviews say, they have to do something with their check in process. The noise travels easily in this hotel. At 7 every morning some construction-type noise would wake us up. You could easily hear your neighbors.

Nataliia Piavka

I do not recommend! There is a lot to write, but this hotel, its management, kitchen, spoiled our vacation. Unfortunately, this happens and people make mistakes, and unfortunately we made a mistake! We were accommodated in a family room, which is located in an old building, where everything is broken, dirty, old. The door to the room was difficult to open because it was simply broken. When I think about the restaurant in this hotel, I just want to cry. Going to breakfast for our family was so stressful, because there were no choice at all. Every morning the same thing. If you are on a diet, you will not have anything to eat. You won't find a children's menu either. There are no vegetables and their quality does not give the right to call them vegetables. Dinners were also without assortment. The cooks do not exhaust themselves and serve what they have prepared as if on a conveyor belt, without any aesthetic appearance. The rooms are very old. I speak for the four-story building where we were settled. The room was on the 4th floor. If you think that you will be given a large bed for two with one mattress, then you are mistaken, we were given two beds that were placed next to each other and if we wanted to lean against each other with my partner, we could not, because our beds moved in different directions .The hotel claimed about a warm pool outside (this was the only reason why we chose it), so we didn't even dare to swim there, because it's terrible (I'm attaching a photo)! It's a pity that we spent 5 days of our holiday in this horrible place!!!!I can't say that the staff is polite. The atmosphere in the hotel is not friendly and you don't want to be there.Ah yes, all the families with children live in the old building and the only way to that building is through slot machines!!!! Does the hotel have such an idea, how to take even more money from guests???? Of course, the children asked to play on those stupid slot machines, and not only mine.Glad we were there only 5 nights and moved to another where we enjoyed the rest of our vacation.

Perfect location. It has a back door to access the beach by crossing the road. Our room was huge with 2 balconies and lovely view.Plenty storage, the room had like a small walking wardrobe.Buffet was varied, if you don't have any dietary requirements, there's plenty options.

gill Worrall

We were upgraded to premiere room. Lovely spacious room. Only one English news channel though. Only negative point was the towels, very thin and poor quality. No problem with the food, the show cooking is a little slow though. We would come back again.

Salaah Amin

Great staff, just missing a few thingsThe hotel is great with an amazing staff! I remember in particular Gloria who was trying to help me plan a trip to Granada/Seville. She gave me her fullest attention and gave me the feeling that she wants me to have a good experience. The ability to emphasis with her guests makes her incredible! The hotel is generally really clean, however I feel that there can be a bit more focus in bedrooms as for example, my remote control was full of dust. The sticky kind. Nevertheless, the maids are very friendly and greeted me every morning. The hotel has a great area for swimming and simply relaxing. The hotel is very close to the beach, roughly a 3min walk a 15min walk away from the closest station. In regards to food, it would be great if there were more vegetarian options for the hot buffet. For me, the team is what makes this hotel 4/5 as they are truly amazing!

Super thin paper-like walls - how thin? while you are in your room you can hear everything your neighbours talk, from both rooms, and even when they snore at night. When they use the shower, toilet or faucet its like they are literally in the same room as you. if you turn your own faucet it wont be as loud as theirs, thats how bad it is,We were woken up almost every night by random noises fromthe neighbours using the bathroomFood and service- Dinnner ia pretty diversified , they change maybe 50% of the meals daily .. but thats about it, fresh stir fry noodles served everyday and some different type of grilled meat plus other types of food.Dessert is the same every singleday.. very boring and repetitiveBreakfast is literally the same thing everyday, they might change the sausage type and thats it.No drinks included for dinner, not even water.. if you ask for tap water waiters give you weird looks.. they push for you to oder alchoholic drinks ..so they make more off of you.EntertainmentMost nights its live music, thats about it and its nothing spectacular.. the magician show and the andalusian dance were decent though.Misc:- The location is great, a bus stop in front of the hotel and plenty of shops, 5 min away from the nearest beach and sea and 10 min away from the Port.- the pools are pretty decent- the hotel looks fantastic from the outside.- they take cleaning very seriously, the room cleaning is very thorough and on point.- Great garden, very well maintained , they even have a small pond with koi fish- Car parking is 15 euros a day? despite being a client, very weird- No bathroom in the restaurant area.. there are hundreds of people there and you need to exit the area and go one level up just to use a bathroom- They have a game room with free ping pong table but the very worn paddles- small 2m snooker tables you pay 2 euros for a game- weird thing about this is that the game room is closed after 20:00 so basically right after dinner when there isnt anything else to do in the hotel.. very weird choice, there were plenty of nights where i wished the game room was open- the advertisem*nt says outside jacuzzi pool . but it doesnt work it seems- the gym has no free weights, just machines.. no towels or water dispenser- No toilet brush ? have not seen this before.Overall, it was an ok stay, they really need to improve the sound proofing between rooms though and diversify the menu a bit.

Derek Bell

We've just returned after a month's holiday at the Best Sirocco and we had a really enjoyable time. All of the staff are friendly and work very hard but there was one person, Elena, that made our holiday really special. Among many other entertainment activities, Elena ran our daily Spanish classes and apart from making them so much fun, she went above and beyond to create entertaining lessons - often spending her own time to put together materials for us. Her enthusiasm, hard work and sense of humour should really be recognised! Thank you Elena (and we're now looking for local Spanish lessons). Derek and Chris.

Absolutely had an amazing stay and what a location and what views. The rooms were good a couple of "tired" issues but nothing that would be me off. The rooms were clean, we had an amazing view and nice to find a fridge in the room. The pool area is clean, plenty of sunbeds, clean toilets and good food. Only issue is the clinking of the slabs........Breakfast was what you would expect...Cold Buffet, Hot Buffet, Cereals, Breads, fruit etc....something for everyone.Hotel was busy but quiet and guests mingled well.Location is perfect for a walk into town.................Mijas is stunning.I found all staff very friendly from Reception to Cleaners. Reception were very accommodating and friendly. Its not perfect, but not far off it.....any negatives far outdo the positives.....I really cant wait to return

Naomi Watkins-Ligudzinska

We didn’t stay here. But had a drink in the pool bar and conservatory. Because I stayed here 36yrs ago when I was a child. And it’s just as I remembered with Spanish charm. The man on reception was very sweet and interested in my pictures from 36yrs ago. Pool bar staff very friendly. The views are spectacular. We will be back to stay.

Simon Farrell

Fab hotel. However, sound proofing in the room is terrible. Even being quiet, you can hear everything quite clearly from adjacent rooms. TV, conversations, ablutions etc. It's a shame because the hotel itself is excellent. Very friendly staff who speak English very well. (I'm very lucky as my wife speaks fluent Spanish). The food is ok(buffet), better in the bar. Great location, stunning actually. I would still recommend a visit, just be prepared.

MR B Out and about

Staff super friendly. Room(23) I was put in must of been in the worst position next to the stairs and bang opposite the gym and spa.so if you want a sleep in you won't get one. Food in the restaurant was top quality and the staff are great . The hotel is tastefully decorated with real charm. But stop outside the hotel and a short walk into mijas. Views from the hotel are fantastic overall a great short break away

Raju Varghese

The rooms were good and so was the hotel, in general. The decorations in the hall are excellent. However, we found that sound-proofing was not good. We could hear every cough, conversation and movement from the next room. This might have been due to the fact that there was a connecting door (which was locked, of course) and families that had adjacent+connected rooms may not have found it disturbing. The other complaint I have is that the restaurant only has buffet service. For breakfast that is now a standard but for lunch and dinner I found that a bit restricting. Further, the food seems to be tuned towards the elderly British clientele.

Good hotel. Our room didn't get cleaned when we stayed for 3 nights. But it's reasonably priced, plenty of pools, food was fairly good, staff very friendly. Would visit again

Alanda Club Marbella commitment to cleanliness was impressive, evident in their meticulous upkeep of the rooms and facilities. The central location made exploring the area a breeze, and the reasonable pricing for such quality accommodations was a definite plus. The staff's warm and welcoming demeanor added a personal touch, making the stay truly enjoyable. Breakfasts was superior and delicious. Highly recommended for family vacations!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel during new year week. Nice, Clean and Spacious rooms. Lovely indoor and Outdoor pools & jacuzzi. But missed SteamRoom. The breakfast was very good. Enjoyed the Food at the restaurant. Location is not far from the City Centre. Lots of Restaurants n Bars near the Hotel. Beach on a walking distance of 5 minutes. Enjoyed the hotel facilities.

Coco Peppi

We are a little Family and making Vacation in this Area. The hotel is an older style and needs healthy Beds and the old Smell is not nice or healthy. The Food is ok, depending on the Cook. We noticed an unfriendly Service during the Time of visit but maybe we are not the clients for this house. Also when the guests are allowed to take the food by their bare hands, it makes us not welcome and here was the loss of Stars.

Very glad to have found this hotel for our brief stay in Torremolinos, a fantastic location within walking distance to many lovely restaurants and a short walk to the beach. The room was clean with lovely views over the area. Although we didn't get a chance to use the pool, the rooftop terrace bar had a nice atmosphere and staff were always helpful and friendly.

Decent rooms, good choice of food at breakfast , nice pool area and rooftop bar ,great location buses stop right outside hotel and C1 line station 5 minute walk away,15 minute walk to the beach. I don't understand the bad reviews I've seen about the place , if you want a five star hotel this isn't it, but we found it an ideal base for what we needed

Rob Pitts

This was my first time on my own in a different country and I found the hotel very clean staff very friendly food quite amazing with so much choice and that was for breakfast and evening meal half board the rooms were big clean tidy and the staff was very amazing. The hotel is two minutes away from the town bus stop right outside the front door couldn't ask for a better hotel the walking shower and the water pressure amazingly beautiful the only one thing I would say is that the telly is only in Spanish and I didn't understand Spanish. Had a little outside balcony that I could sit on and it was just a massive Room with a fridge a complimentary bottle of family. I would recommend the hotel and I will be going back....... It had two bars one in the middle of the hotel where you go out for your swimming pool and relaxing area to get some bathing and then you had to rooftop bar which had amazing views couldn't fault it and would recommend it to anybody even with a big family stuff for amazing I must if you ever go to torremolinas in my opinion thank you all staff for all your help. This is the second time I have visited the hotel ..it’s very clean ..breakfast is good love the conservatory to eat in ..but please put a seat on the seventh floor as if you are disabled it can be a long wait for the lift ..but overall lovely hotel and staff

Holly Teasdale

Booked via Jet2holidays. The property is rated as three star plus with their internal system. I couldn’t agree more with the rating I’m very happy with the experience I’ve received and the value for money. Me and my partner upgraded to a ‘ my favourite club’ room and this included a bottle in our room on arrival and also gives us access to an exclusive snack area. The hotel doesn’t offer an all-inclusive, however offers the snack area exclusively to this club and there was a lot of food in the private area like Maccarone cheese, lasagne sandwiches, coffees, and alcohol. The hotel does offer an evening meal. However, this is payable of €18 per person. the hotel is around a 15 minute walk or so to the beach. The staff at the hotel have also been very friendly . Usually I wouldn’t return to a hotel as I like to explore a range of different areas. However, I would happily come back to this hotel.

The hotel was on the edge of town Center but it was not far from the Center at all, only 5’ drive away or 15’ jog. It has beautiful setting with private beach. The sunset and sunrise view was amazing. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment and it was perfect for a family of four. I can’t complain for the price.

Mainly Spain

We have just returned from a 10 night stay at this hotel, the hotel is well presented all areas are well maintained and very clean we only had bed and breakfast however we did pay to eat dinner for a couple of nights and I must say we found the breakfast to be very good, the two evening meals we had were also ok.The only negative points I would say are the sun loungers could really do with being replaced and upgraded and the WiFi is also very poor in most areas, on the point of location although we personally did not have a problem with distance you have to walk to the centre it would be a issue for anyone that is not so active, then the return from the centre back to the hotel is a bit of a lottery regarding taxis.Would I recommend this hotel yes I would but I would say do some research/ homework regarding the location beforehand.

Katarzyna Poniatowska

Unfortunately, the hotel does not meet expectations. The exterior is repainted, but the interior differs from the standards of other 4-star hotels. There is a clear need for a thorough renovation, the equipment in the kitchenettes in the rooms probably dates back to the 1980s. The food is edible, but it is difficult to say that it tastes good. However, what disappointed us the most was the swimming pool offer. It turned out that the indoor pool is not accessible to children under 16 years of age. Due to the offer of the indoor swimming pool, we decided on this holiday offer. The manager said that the children can swim in the outdoor pool. During the first week of our stay, the swimming pool was out of use: it was cleaned and the area around the pool was painted with oil paint. The hotel is recommended as family-friendly. I do not recommend.

Katherine Witter

This hotel is a wonderful location with great shared spaces - beautiful reception and lobby, gorgeous pool area (not heated in winter so too cold to go in), direct access to the beach, short walk (20mins) into Nerja along the coastal path, small but lovely spa and friendly spa. Food options were good -not too much which I liked but what was there was done well. However, it is let down overall by the rooms. Our two bed apartment was small, but mostly the issue was the kitchen/diner area was bleak -not particularly clean, no pictures on the walls, no hooks for coats or bags, not enough side tables and very dated. I don't mind dated furnishings if it's a bit more thought out with some homely touches but unfortunately it really isn't. Limited accessories in kitchen too-such as dustpan and brush, scissors, bottle opener etc. Daily cleaning was just the floor, surfaces were not cleaned. That said, we would come again as the rest of hotel and staff were amazing, location is perfect and kids loved it.

Andy Powell

Just back from a lovely week all inclusive at Marinas de Nerja. Fantastic service from all staff from reception to bar, restaurant and room service staff, brilliant location 1 euro on local bus to Nerja Town and a lovely 20 minute walk along the beach back to hotel. Excellent food with loads of choices dailysecond visit and certainly a third soon. Thanks Marinas

Loved my time at Marina Hotel. The pool area is fantastic and the dj plays great music. The food and drinks are nice. Love the secret fountain. Always visit there even if not staying in the Marina. Rooms are adequate and everyone is so friendly. Its ideal position in the middle of the strip means plenty of entertainment and it’s very close to the gorgeous beach with its lovely sunsets. Couldn’t ask for more for a great holiday.

Great hotel and atmosphere but €150 deposit per person is a joke for 3 days stay! Good music and great location however. Half of the space by the pool is took up by VIP sun loungers which u have to pay extra for and no one is ever sat on them whilst people struggle to find normal sun beds together. Overall good stay just need to change a few things IMO. :)

Want to do big shout out to Freddy who looked after us, very Friendly person and would make the effort to go and talk to people I seen that everyone loved him.The entertainment in night time in the white star was very good and they also have Karaoke in the day time which was busy.See you next year ☺

We thoroughly enjoyed our stayed at IVP Palace in March. We had a late check-in and appreciated the meal tray provided by very friendly staff. The hotel was clean, rooms were well appointed (we had a beautiful sea view) and restaurant offered a good variety of choice. During our stay my husband unfortunately experienced a medical issue and I cannot emphasize enough the kindness displayed by the hotel staff. Everyone was very caring and showed genuine concern as to both my husband’s and my well being. A special thank you goes to Jacqueline P. guest services, your help, friendly approach and utmost professionalism made the difference in a very stressful situation. Well done IPV!!

We just returned from an amazing week at the IPV Palace in Fuengirola. This hotel has everything, class, excellent service, good buffet-style meals if you opted for half-board . It is also located in the quiet part of Fuengirola but within walking distance of a shopping centre and a few good restaurants.I would recommend this establishment without hesitation but party people might want to go somewhere else.

Great hotel, friendly staff, breakfast was great with plenty of choice, indoor pool and spa was amazing. Rooms were clean and decent size, great location and was a lovely walk to restaurants and shops, only downside was the outdoor pool was not heated and was to cold to swim in, plenty of sun beds. I would say it’s the best hotel in Fuengirola as it’s perfectly out of the way from the crowds and noise, will definitely return.

Excellent location, full breakfast buffet with made to order omelettes, anything you could possible want for breakfast. Friendly staff, clean premises. The only complaint we have is the soundproofing of the rooms. We could hear every word our neighbours were saying as well as which TV programme they were watching. We had an excellent stay.

Loved staying here at the end of November the hotel is elegant and well kept with beautiful etiquette from the main entrance, to the reception and into the halls. The double room was immaculate and housekeeping was very good. Beautiful view from the balcony and weather was great which made it better. Restaurant in the hotel is fantastic nice healthy selections of food, fruit and vegetables. Pool is excellent and right beside the beach which is so nice will most definitely be visiting again 100/ out of 100!!

Fine hotel in a great location. Friendly staff, great food and plenty of it. Roof top bar and pool area is superb. Prices are very modest for a hotel if you want to buy a drink or light bite. My room had a large balcony that had a view of the mountain, spacious bathroom with a bidet. There is a seating area with kettle and tea/coffee facility but most importantly there was an under counter fridge for my own beers and wine. I can recommend this hotel no problem.

Had a wonderful week's stay at the AluaSun Lago Rojo. The hotel is really well placed with a path from the back of the hotel leading directly to the beach and many shops, bars and restaurants. The staff were all lovely and more than willing to help with any questions we had. The hotel itself was spotless and the rooms were large, bright and clean. We absolutely loved the rooftop pool and sunbathing area, the views are unbelievable! Food was great, very varied with something for everyone. Wouldn't hesitate to come back if I return to Torremolinos.

Fantastic, friendly and spotlessly clean.Great location very near to beach and shops. Really enjoyed rooftop garden, pool and bar.Excellent facilities in hotel with great food and drink.Rooms massive, well laid out. and well fitted out. Beds very comfortable and good facilities.Could not fault this hotel in any way. Thoroughly enjoyable holiday.Best of all staff very helpful, friendly and caring. Would return in a heartbeat!

The Hotel isn't a 4 stars hotel.. Its not at that level. I would be concerned about health and safety. Ceiling tiles not being secure. Jacuzzi safety concerns. My suster had a celing metal grate fall only missing her by cms. And she got an electric shock up her arm going into the jacuzzi. Who needs that on holiday?. I'm a diaysis patient so I wouldn't feel safe in your hotel as it is at present & I couldn't recommend it to anyone. The food, staff location excellant. Rooms could do with remodeling with tv on wall facing beds.

Sofia Shevchenko

I do not recommend this hotel to any private traveler who values good food & polite service. This hotel has a potential, but in its current state - three stars hotel maximum, not four.I chose this hotel based on two criteria: (1) location should be close to certain place, (2) part of Hyatt chain. I stayed in three Alua hotels in Spain in the past three months, and this hotel is so far the worst one.Advantages of the hotel: location is great, rooms are nice, close proximity to sea promenade & airport, quiet (depends on the room), adults only (well, also misleading because adults behave way worse here :) ).Disadvantages: food, security, service. What REALLY sucks about this hotel is the service. Majority of the personnel is either very sad to greet the guests or too occupied with their phones. Exception is cleaning stuff (always greet you with the smile). The pool stuff does not care that guests reserve the loungers at 09:30 and leave until midday or later. When we had found that there was no free place available to lay near the pool, we waited like 30 min to ask the stuff to remove towels from “reserved” seats. The staff (three ppl working in the pool area) just raised shoulders and did NOTHING if even on every freaking umbrella there is a note that reserving a sun bed is not allowed, and the staff will remove the belongings! The same moment we approached the reception area with the same request and it was also ignored, except for one person who actually did his job and removed the left towels! Imagine that hotel guests approached me later after this incident and thanked me for standing up for them as they also suffer from such behavior. “We are all on the vacation, not only they”.This is an affiliated Hyatt hotel, so do not expect much here, except for “Thank you for being a member of Hyatt”.

upon arrival, i found multiple insects in the bathroom crawling in the sink and on the floor. concerned about the cleanliness, i called the receptionist to request a room change. a manager came to inspect the situation and kindly explained that the insects came from outside and are harmless. he offered to have the housecleaner deep clean the room instead of changing it, which was not satisfactory. as a guest, i expect a standard of cleanliness and comfort, and finding multiple insects in my room failed to meet those expectations. i found the manager's overall demeanour dismissive as he downplayed the incident as a normal occurrence.the room lacks soundproofing, you can hear everything as if you’re present in another person’s conversation. i could hear arguments from the room next to me and even just the sound of footsteps walking past my door. it quickly became irritating as the noise grew and the groups staying on the floor became bigger.some of the receptionists were kind, which contributed to a more positive experience. breakfast had a variety of options that i found okay.overall, i would not recommend this hotel to others based on what i encountered. i hope the hotel management takes this feedback seriously and ensures that rooms are thoroughly cleaned and maintained to prevent future guests from having similar experiences.

They charge 15 euro a day for parking, which was not communicated to us until after we arrived. The pool is only open from 11am.Rooms are clean, but dated. Our hair dryer was broken, the air conditioning was very weak so we were sweltering hot and couldn't sleep even with it going full blast.Hotel is frequented by a lot of young people, we had teenagers running down the halls knocking on every door, and Hotel wouldn't do anything about it.Wouldn't recommend staying here.

Romina Roshan

We arrived at the hotel and initially enjoyed everything, but as the evening approached, issues arose. The WiFi wasn't functioning, the complimentary water bottle provided was very small, and to purchase a 1.5-liter bottle, we had to pay 4 euros. Additionally, the lighting in the room was quite dim. We still have a few more days here, but these were our experiences on the first day alone!!! Not to mention, the refrigerator is completely empty. I suggest that the manager try a few hotels at the same level in Turkey and Dubai to see the difference.

I stayed here over 10 years ago. I always remembered the lovely friendly staff. My wife and I were there on holiday to celebrate my birthday, (maybe my 50th)I was presented with a bottle of wine and a birthday cake by the management. They really made me feel welcome. I hope to be well enough in the future, to visit a truly lovely hotel, and lovely people. 👍🏿

Nice hotel located very close to Marbella.Easy access to AP-7 and A-7 motorways. The hotel is big enough. It looks very luxurious.Swimming pool and garden on the side. The rooms are very big and comfortable. The bathroom is also big enough. All facilities are available in the hotel. Breakfast is delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended to visit.

I came from USA alone and waited for my husband and was so at home the week before he got there I didn’t want to leave. I look for these hotels EVERYWHERE I TRAVEL now. It was the best location with excellent views also. The hotel is definitely a boutique style with such elegance and beauty I give 5 STARS ON EVERYTHING! They are super professional and helpful with wonderful service. I will definitely be back!

We had a great stayed at this hotel. Staff were very friendly and attentive, rooms were very cleaned. Breakfast was good, so many different options for all tastes. Pool was nice and peaceful with a small bar for nice drinks they also do snacks. The location was perfect easy access to the beach just 2 minutes walk and also had the access to the town from reception. We really had a amazing time :) thank you!

John Billett

One of the best things to note is there are two entrances - one at the top of the cliff level for easy access to the main town and shopping streets, and the other down at the beach level. Such a bonus. It's also only a 3-4 minute walk from the train station. There's also a cool rooftop dining area with great views to eat your breakfast to. Oh, and the breakfast is great.

Rusu Nicu-Razvan

The hotel doesn't havd a parking lot, but is easy to find one on thr same street. It is pretty clean and has a good location.Unfortunately, we have some problems with the bathroom door and the old furniture. And, for some reason, the towels weren't change.

David

Great Hotel.Location, cleanliness, comfortable bed, great bathroom and friendly staff. It is good value for money as is the breakfast. A welcome drink on arrival makes a difference. The temperature of cooked breakfast items could be hotter, the charging to roof terrace/solarium should be inclusive, and the closing of bedroom doors emits too much noise. But on the whole a wonderful place to stay.

Hotel is great, but it's management is not good. The all-inclusive is a joke: you will have to wait for anything you want to have. Snacks are in one place so pack food for the walk and wait. In the restaurants you need a waiter to get drinks, and guess if they have an incentive to prioritize you as all-inclusiveInternet only works in San Pablo. If you want to use it go there.

Excellent hotel; very friendly & helpful staff.Dining options very good. Large menu choice for both breakfast & dinner. Very good quality.Rooms are good; a little tight if sharing as twin.My room was at the rear of hotel so new view other than the car park. Not a big deal. Only slight gripe, was tbe noise every morning from 7am with rubbish collections

Brian Frampton

We have just returned from a 2 week holiday in the Don Pedro.Excelent hotel in every way, staff so friendly, location great, affordable and great entertainment every night.Only one slight nag the rooms are a little on the small side and cleaning could have been more thorough. That aside we would be more than happy to come back.

We were at the hotel in January 2024. Very nice hotel with nice service (we especially liked Mrs. Esperanza, who cleaned our room and at the same time explained exactly what and where to visit in the area; Mrs. Esperanza even gave our daughter a flower - great! :)). Clean hotel, good infrastructure, close to the beach and well connected to the surrounding area. Good food. Andalucia es fantastica!🇪🇸♥️

Went with package company Jet2. Solo traveler for 12 days. My first anxious holiday alone. My first contact with the Don Pedro hotel was an email, just asking about details of early breakfast & dinner due to excursions & flight times. I couldn't have been happier with the response, friendly, professional & happy to do whatever they could to help.To help those who have not visited before, this is a multi complex of hotels (Don Pablo - biggest, Don Pedro, Don Pablo) and you share each others facilities.Due to the late flight I had 30mins to check-in & find the Don Pablo restaurant for dinner before it closed at 10pm.The receptionist (whom I think had a name like Debora?), was absolutely amazing, so kind & friendly. The place is a maze & in the dark more daunting. The left hand lift by reception also didnt open properly, so I thought within 15mins of arriving I was going to be stuck in the lift (I found other guests later also complaining about it).The restaurant had friendly waiters but weirdly the managers did not seem customer service based and can come across as sharp. The food was adequate, some weird combinations but enough to find something each night. I would classify this a 3* and for just a small bottle of water it was 2.50E. Flamenco night we all got given a carnation before dinner which was a lovely touch.Went in April. The complex was wonderful, although the Don Marco was being renovated & you had building noise and sewage smells. However, saying that, the place was cleaned within an inch of its life, it was spotless. The pools at night also had fencing to stop anyone falling in etc.. Your main entrance/exit for Pedro & Marco is towards the beach where you go through a security gate, which makes you feel safe in the complex. Most of the security were all very friendly. The room I had was lovely, well laid out. Tv did not have signal. There was a huge gap above my entrance door and there could have been better cleaning. I did have to call maintenance for the non-draining shower but within seconds of the report a very friendly guy came to help which was great service. My only recommendation was that I was put in a room with a high walled balcony.. therefore if I sat down, I looked at the wall. So, could you please put higher chairs and tables on the balcony so you can relax and actually see the lovely view? The entertainment was very below standard, even though each night we had 2 on offer. The bar staff were again friendly and a pot of tea was 2.50E.The location was great, you can walk along the beach to Malaga or Benalmadena. Shops & places to visit are also nearby. So a good destination.I ticked a box on entering the hotel to say that I wanted to join the Melia rewards, I was so impressed that I would go back again. HOWEVER, on check-out I expected some sort of membership card (like the H10 hotels do) but I was told by quite an unfriendly receptionist that you can only join BEFORE the holiday and you wont get any points for this one. (I have since confirmed this with Melia Customer service).. so all the receipts I saved & the tick box were all for nothing and I dont think I will bother now! Other hotels provide a much better service where this is concerned. My Jet2 transfer did not turn up and I had to ask the receptionist at Don Pablo for help to get a taxi and they were amazing, one was there within seconds.I had a lovely stay in this hotel.

My first visit to the hotel and just loved it. From Reception staff on arrival who managed to change our room to ground floor which made our holiday walking straight out onto the poolside. Restaurant such a great choice of food and friendly staff especially Billy who always made you welcome each evening. Bar staff especially David friendly and professional, good entertainment each evening. Overall the hotel is a high quality and superb in every way. Highly recommend.

The hotel is lovely, staff are cheerful and helpful. The rooms are spotlessly clean and fresh. There is one slightly broken cupboard door and the view not great, otherwise perfect. The buffet food is outstanding, so much choice, all fresh and perfectly laid out. A table for dinner is reserved for your stay, a great idea. Overall an excellent choice in a great location behind the Marina.

Very impressed with this hotel!Great selection of food. Rooms modern and clean. Location was perfect. Staff were helpful and caring. Thank you for a great holiday 😊😊

Very nice and considerate reception staff. Helpful even remembering it was our anniversary the next day. We discovered a bottle of wine to celebrate our anniversary which we thought was very kind. Thank you Sofia and Erika. It was our first time here and we will definitely be back and stay at the same hotel. First class in every way. Roger and Christine Williams from Cardiff.

Adrian

We liked it. The biggest plus is that most of the staff is genuine happy and serviceminded which makes the stay very pleasant. The food is decent but not excellent. U have to pay for water even with half board. This is something that should be included in my opinion. The room cleaning is done very well but some of the furniture shows visible signs of wear and tear and the bed is quite hard compared to the standard we are used too.The pool is smaller than the perception from the pictures and smaller than what we are used to from Gran Canaria but big enough to swim and cool off.All in all, likeable and decent. Again, excellent staff and service.

This is our last night at this Hotel. We have had a lovely stay. Front sea view is worth the extra cost. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful. ESTHER in the restaurant is super nice. She was very helpful. Reception staff were always helpful. Our room cleaner was also friendly and efficient. We were disappointed there weren't any English TV programme. The first half of our holiday we didn't have any air con but when it came on was good and quite. I would recommend this hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Benalmádena Beach. The hotel is excellent and very clean, with spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and modern amenities. The location is perfect, just a few steps away from the beautiful beach and the lively promenade. The staff are friendly, helpful, and professional. They made me feel welcome and attended to my every need. I also enjoyed the pool, the spa, and the gym. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday in Benalmádena.

So far all excellent; friendly, efficient staff, room made ready at 13:24, earlier than 15:00 on hotel information. Arrived mid-day, greeted quickly: receptionist happy to store luggage, and called mobile as enjoying a stroll around the Marina.Good shower, spotless room and comfortable bed, sparkling wine on ice and sliced melon felt like attention to detail. Had drinks in rooftop bar before sampling local beachside restaurants, there are plenty.Haven't tried the on-site food as we like a stroll to work up an appetite. Like design of the place, which is better than looks in brochure, with small swimming pool, plenty of sunbeds and a more private sunbathing spot adjacent to the seafront.Reviews on here moan about things not appropriate to a boutique hotel, built in a hilly area; this was a good choice for two adults, need to be able to cope with steps down to beach with handy private access. Some effort avoidable, by taking lift down to minus two level, then short stair out to beachside path.Marina area worth a look nearby with designer shopping, low priced snack bars catering for British tastes and local cuisine, particularly good fish restaurants around. Intend checking out cable car and falconry, although chilling in a beachside spot might tempt us instead 😎... Recommended, some of the reviews are hilarious, it's deserving of five stars if you suit what's offered.

Jenny

Love this hotel, walked down from the train station and along the promenade to experience some of the local area. It has a great location next to the beach, lovely pool with seating and bar. It also has an indoor heated pool, jacuzzi and sauna! All the staff have been so friendly, especially Mihaela. We've stayed half board, the breakfast and dinner have so much choice, all good! - and a super gentleman playing piano at dinner!

Amazing hotel - extremely family friendly. No complaints at all. JC at the pool bar has been absolutely great since our 1st day here. We will definitely be coming back here, very convenient hotel with our 20 month old toddler.

€250 euros per night to not get ANY sleep. Security guard did his best to try and stop the 4.00am party but it was a tall order. Supervisor Alex persuaded us to stay in a new room but really we should have left. Resort Manager Eleyna refused any financial recompense despite asking us what we would be happy to accept. Breakfast is decent. Rooms are spacious but the place really struggles when it’s close to capacity. Won’t be using our points or use this group again I’m afraid. Read other reviews.

There’s a lot to love about this hotel. Some might not like the location, but I think it’s perfect. It’s away from the crowds on a great stretch of beach. The hotel is airy and immaculately clean. The staff are friendly and professional without being gushy. On the negative side, the beds are extremely uncomfortable. That’s a biggie for me and I probably wouldn’t stay here again because of them. Even though they brought me a topper, I’ve woke to back pain three days running. Another issue is the housekeeping which is lackluster at best. The final issue is the placement of the toilet in the bathroom. For someone tall or large, it’s extremely tight and uncomfortable. The layout wasn’t thought out very well.

Alison Mitchell

Fabulous location, great rooms (particularly like the option to have open plan or close off sections). The food was a really good standard. Staff were efficient/helpful and polite. The pool area looks over the beach and sea which is gorgeous. But, really disappointed with the sunbed situation. It was really difficult to get a sunbed by the pool. People had left towels and belongings on beds all afternoon despite not using them. Not really the fault of the hotel - British holidays makers are so selfish. Should just remove the belongings if the beds are not occupied. Also, people saving beds for small children that were in the pool all day. Really spoils the experience for other guests.

Michiel

A very nice hotel on the sunny coast. And because I had booked a premium room, this gave some nice extras such as access to the lounge for premium guests and the rooftop pool with bar which was beautiful. The free private beach, the play bar with tasty dishes and the refreshments in the minibar in the room were also great and last but not least the staff was very attentive and friendly. To return again soon!

Wonderful huge hotel near the sea with many pools, spa, gym and other services required. The rooms are very big, as well as the shower rooms with 2 showers. The food is great. I loved everything. The only thing I would prefer to add, it's a better wifi in the rooms to be able to work, when it is needed. Thanks for a great stay!

Imitating the unique location of the alhambra , this hotel will make you travel in time you to medieval Spain occupied by yhe Muslims, yhe hotel is decorated as the caliphate of Granada used to be. This hotel is unique. Just come and see it.

All over is a nice and very huge hotel... Room size is OK... Big beds and nice sea view... Bad point was the insupportable smell coming from the bathroom over the night.... Also there are many beaches around the costal side...Also at all inclusive is not everything included and I'm referring to the drinks, Spa is not included, very expensive and very poor... (Don't waisting your money for nothing)... Before you book this hotel make sure you understand everything about the services included.Very clean rooms, they come every day and clean, arrange the beds, change the towels, etc....Not many from the stuff speaking English so is a bit difficult to understand, but they try hardly to help....The beach is small and is next to the hotel at 5-10min walk...Almuñécar town is close an nice... You can take the taxi and will cost you 10 euros to Central town or you can take the bus next to the hotel and pay just 1 euro per person.Everything is closed between 2pm and 5pm...so the town is more animated in the evening.

Wow what a brilliant stay. The staff are absolutely amazing. They work tirelessly through the day to make sure you feel special. Food is really nice and I didn't have the same food once during the week I stayed. Animation team are brilliant with the kids and they are a credit to the hotel. Lifefuards are all really friendly and professional and you feel safe with your kids being in the pool as they are constantly monitering the pools. Amazing beaches a short walk away and some lovely resturants too if you fancy eating out sometime. Location is beautiful with a wonderful sea view from the balcony. Will definitely be returning.Special thanks to the waitress Maribel who was so lovely to our daughter and made her feel special every day. Her energy and kindness are a credit to the hotel.Definitely stay here if visiting Almunecar

Food ( specially the dinner, the food not well cooked by the chef - the meat was raw in the middle even if we told him to cook it well)2. Don’t have many activities organized within the hotel or outside under the pool area.Overall our stay was 7 out of 10. Will probably look for other similarly price hotels next time.😓

2nd time we have stayed at this hotel. It is a comfortable modern hotel , situated on the seafront. It is well located for access to the centre of Fuengirola. Breakfasts were excellent. We went half board, but ate out half the time. Next time I would go bed and breakfast as Fuengirola has plenty of restaurants to choose from. Staff were professional and friendly. If we return to Fuengirola we would stay here again.

Myself and 7 friends stayed here last month as we were playing golf in the area.Hotel is in a great location and only a 5/6 walk to Fish Alley where there are a load of bars and restaurants and only a further 2/3 min walk to reach the main strip of bars on the sea front.Hotel itself was lovely. Breakfast was cracking with complimentary Cava included.Would 100% stay here again

Hotel looks modern. We stayed in the middle of April. There wasn't enough stuff to run it. Both pool bars and kitchen were closed 5 days out of 7.We booked cabana for all 7 days, it was supposed to include service but we ended up going to the hotel bar for our drinks and food due to the bars closure. Luckily there was a big kiosk right outside the hotel and we could buy ice creams, drinks there, even that one of the closed pool bars had freezer full of ice creams! (We spend quite lots of money in the outside kiosk eventually as the hotel seemed to have no need to sale anything to its hotel guests!)The last two days of our stay, they closed the little pool by our cabana and didn't inform us about it, it was apparently due to its technical issues.Pools are both not heated!!!The stuff doesn't speak much English. They speak better English in the restaurants outside the hotel. The Arrozante restaurant is open only Friday till Sunday. Otherwise the food options at the hotel bar during day are pretty limited. My husband and I have both professional hospitality background and we would never rated it 4 stars hotel, sadly. Hotel has amazing potential to deliver much more but not with the current management attitude and work ethic.Clearly the owners are satisfied with its turnover...

Great place to stay - very affordable. Staff were great, and went above and beyond to bring a brownie with a candle at breakfast on my birthday. Very nice touch.

We stayed for 2 extremely nice weeks in one of the awesome bungalows (for 6 people) the hotel has. We participated in a lot of the offered activities / animation for the adults and kids and the whole staff was always very nice, polite and encouraging! The food was amazing and throughout our stay of high quality. The hotel is next to the beach but otherwise a little off and it is also a little difficult to get anywhere without a car (public transport is quite bad in this area) but this is our only criticism. Our special thanks go to Ramon (waiter) and Elena (animator) who were extraordinarily friendly and helpful!

Excellent customer service. Always a friendly attitude, accompanied by a smile. In general all the hotel staff EXCELLENT but I want to highlight the entertainment team who were always encouraging to participate in activities for children and adults. The shows at night always prepared to entertain and please the public.Helena my favorite, full of energy, enthusiasm and excellent personalized attention to the guests.Congratulations and thank you for making my vacation an unforgettable time.I WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK!

This is a one star review purely based on a terrible experience on our last day. Prior to this it was going to be a 4/5 star review. The good:Rooms were a good size and clean. The beds were comfy.Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.Restaurant food, a great selection and very tasty.Poolside entertainment was good, the staff members going around to invite you to play volleyball etc were very friendly and funny. The bad:We were checking out at 12 noon but weren't getting picked up until 14:30. We asked at reception if we could still have lunch at 1 as part of our all inclusive. He said normally once the bands are handed back at 12 you don't get access to all inclusive, but he'd give our room number to the restaurant and it would be OK. This was great to hear and would have understood if he'd said it wasn't possible. Upon arriving at the restaurant the lady greeting us asked for our room number then said we weren't on the list, we the other one explained and she the said it was OK to go in. We got some food and a waiter came over to ask if we wanted drinks the asked cash/card? We explained the situation to him and he was a bit rude and stated he was going to get the restaurant manager. At this point we're thinking great, let's get this resolved, but he came over and was even ruder / louder. For at least 5 minutes he was bluntly shouting that we pay, causing a big scene which had everyone staring over. He kept repeating the usual process, which we understood, but he didn't understand that if two other members of staff have said differently, it doesn't matter what the official process is,but he would not accept it. His name was Victor and due to our interaction with him, would never go back there. However, most of you aren't likely to be in that scenario and almost everything else was great, so don't let that out you off :).

Mike Hynes

We have all absolutely loved our stay here so much. So many of the staff go the extra mile. Our daughter loved the kids club, which is amazing and the staff there are all so lovely. Children cannot be bored here. The reception manager was very helpful and one of the chefs went out of his way to make us a vegan pasta dish with vegan pesto which was delicious. The hotel is beautiful with excellent facilities. The bar and restaurant staff are fab too. Loved the lady in the snack/gift shop too, who was so sweet with our daughter. We would definitely come back here again in a heart beat and can't wait to do so. 😀 😊

If you want to feel like pigs in a pigsty. I recommend you choose this hotel. Expect to be trapped. Paid parking. There was no mention of any fees when booking on the hotel's official website. Our room was directly above the kitchen hood outlet. A really disgusting experience and we paid extra for a view of the ,,garden". The staff at the front desk were rather rude. Next time we'd rather go to the homeless on the beach. The hotel is very shabby and deserves more investment. The Parole dining room is a pigsty. The rating does not correspond to reality.

Had a wonderful week at this Hotel. The rooms were clean and well located with great sea views. We had All Inclusive, which helped with the cost and meant we always had access to grub or a drink. It was also handy as the Hotel isn’t that close to external restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The grounds are fairly limited, but well tended and there was generally always a sunbed if you wanted one. Estepona old town is a fantastic place full of interesting streets, wonderfully decorated with beautiful flowers. I was so impressed with the colourful flower beds that line most of the main roads. This hotel is perfectly positioned if you want to hire a car and drive to Cordoba, Seville and Ronda.

This hotel didn't do it for my wife and myself I'm afraid. Certainly clean and tidy. Our room was perfectly acceptable but our bathroom was outdated. The shower / bath was dangerously slippery and although we asked for a bath mat on two occasions we didn't get one. What was really annoying were the drinks and snacks. We arrived mid-afternoon after a long days travel. With that we went to the bar (after sitting for close to 15 minutes) and ordered two toasted sandwiches. BOTH came out stone cold yet burnt to a crisp and you could see where they'd scraped the toast to try and clean up the appearance. As we'd only been in the hotel 30 minutes we were reluctant to complain already! Also, really, REALLY annoying that you can't buy a bottle of water. Ask for water in the restaurant and you get server an open top glass bottle and charged €2.75 - even if you only want a drop. I'd be sure any you don't drink is topped up and sold to the next person! Also, we were told by the barman (Jesus) that the ONLY gin and tonic costs €10.5 "Whatever the size" he said! Contrary to what the Spanish believe about us Brits we don't ALL want huge drinks - a normal G&T at a reasonable price would have been fine.On the more positive side the pool was good with plenty of sunbeds.

Barnaby Smyth

We had left a disastrous villa and were saved by Diego(reception) and his team. They couldn’t have been more welcoming. The hotel was wonderful, the kids loved the pool and the buffet breakfast/evening meal. We will return.

Anne Davies

Lovely well presented hotel. Friendly helpful staff. High level of cleanliness. Nice outside areas. Room spacious with amazing sea view. Food good quality and good variety.

My go to hotel in Torremolinos. We are a family of 3 and we opt for the junior suite with pool view and it fits our needs perfectly. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located with close proximity to the beach and it also has an elevator in the rear for access to city center. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Breakfast buffet is very good with a great selection.

Patrick Nutman

Rooms were large enough for two of us. We also had a balcony with a view of the beach. The shower was awesome, and the beds were very comfortable. Disabled access was very good .Buffet breakfast, very good selection. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Beach was less than 5 minutes from the hotel, along with a good selection of restaurants.

Lavinia Dutton

This was my second visit to this hotel as my first visit was so good. Exceptional staff, lovely spacious rooms and food choices were tremendous for the evening meal. Everywhere in the hotel was immaculately clean and fresh. Convenient location, close to town and the beach.I will definitely go there again

Paul Mccann

A great clean friendly hotel I have stayed there twice now on separate occasions and the staff are friendly and always give great service. One small negative on my last stay is that the steam room is still out if action and the pool fountain wasn't working on one of the days but that didn't spoil my stay. Its a great location 5 mins from the beach and 10mins from the town 👌 I will definitely be back.

Dušan

Hotel is big and close to beach. Personal are nice and can speak English pretty good. There is some activities which you can choose, some trips around. If you are lucky you can have disco or live music. Rooms are really big with microwave and also with electric stove plus kettle. Beds are with good mattress. There are some good tapas restaurants around. Train station to Malaga is not far but there is many steps, use elevator for 50cents. Wellness is only one hot sauna and small indoor swimming pool, outside is big one. Possibly to go to rooftop for chilling during day but also during night.

Visiting Playa Granada for the first time and having a wonderful family time here. Seaside location is perfect, facilities are lovely (including anything you need for active holiday), territory is beautifully landscaped and maintained, lots of green spaces and blooming flowers and trees. Personnel of the resort are very friendly and ready to go an extra mile, if you ask for anything. Food is nice, and although there is only one restaurant, there is plenty of choice, including daily bbq’s. Animation team entertains both kids and adults with sports games and fun competitions, and the evening shows are great addition to the day too. Thanks everyone at Playa Granada for a lovely holiday.

nikatin

Very uninclusive for tourists. Everyone speaks Spanish at activities and in the bars they only answer in Spanish. You feel very excluded!!! Great Resort in beautiful surroundings. Large nice rooms with OK beds. Nice pool area with absolutely stunning views of the sea. The food is otherwise very good. Missing some tables by the sunbeds.

John Palmer

Great place to stay to relax and if you want to go cycling near by. Had a room with sea view, was lovely. Staff are great, all very friendly and professional. Great location, beach, sea, mountains. Food is decent, good range, always something you are happy to eat.

Beautiful hotelCrap ugly beach with grey stones. No white sand hereFood was good altho little veg main options bar pasta. Caters more for Germans and spanish so it's pork 24/7 breakfast lunch and dinner there's pork everywhereThe hotel is in the middle of nowhere. If you want life then its not the place for you. There's literally nothing for miles. I went into the town one day and its pretty derelict. If you want beauty go to GranadaHardly any of the staff even front of house speaks English. Some don't understand a single word. In an internationally marketed hotel that's quite ridiculous

We stayed one night in Alhambra room (impressive superior double sea side view). Only thing i felt was missing from the room was coffee machine. Room was large, comfortable and well appointed.Spa was lovely, cost extra €20 each for 90 mins, but worth itParking also costs extraFood...it kept us alive, but wasn't particularly impressive (the ice cream is delightful tho)Drinks are extra but they do have very cheap wines and beer on tap for freeCoffee..,make sure you use the coffee machine with the beans on the top. Will we go back? Lovely hotel next to Málaga train station. Stayed here for 2 nights in February. Staff were very friendly and helpful when we arrived early for our room. Rooms and bar areas were spacious and clean. Breakfast was very good and had a great selection of fresh fruit, pastries, omelettes and drinks. Even some bubbly for a morning mimosa. Would stay here again

Raju Varghese

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. All the facilities I needed were there. The rooms were of a good size; the bathroom was nice. From our balcony we could see the sea in the distance. The hotel is located right next to the train station. It is a 20-25 minute walk from the center of the city. Breakfast was excellent.

DHS

They allowed us to check in early and we really appreciated that after traveling. They also gave us a great room near the beautiful, sunny rooftop terrace which we enjoyed immensely. The staff was terrific-from the front desk personnel to the woman who guided us to the closest beach. They printed off our train tickets and made sure we took them with us. The hotel also has a very nice bar and outdoor area on the main floor. I highly recommend this hotel and its convenience connected to the train station and mall next door.

Wow! So glad we chose here. Stayed for a night before and after a villa break for my sisters wedding. On the final night our flight time the next day was very late but we were able to get extend our room til 6pm for a cost - so worth it as it gave us the full day exploring Malaga and a cool shower at the end. All staff very friendly and helpful. Bar area very relaxing and location is amazing. There’s even a little exit direct to train station which has lots of good shops and food. A great way to spend the last few hours before heading back to airport. We will definitely looking up the other Barcelo locations to stay in future too!

Oro Librowicz

The rooms are large, very clean and nicely decorated. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The location is very good. I had a nice surprise on the day of my birthday: the manager had a bottle of champagne brought to our room with a cake! I will certainly go back to this hotel where I have stayed in the past. It is my favorite hotel in Málaga and I will recommend it to friends without hesitation.

I was booked in here by a travel agent. Very disappointed. Our room wasn't ready and that was two hours after our check in time. The room we were finally given was tiny and not well cleaned. There was some sort of liquid that had been sprayed across the door of the bathroom and had not been cleaned up. There were extra charges for the most basic of amenities like the safe in the room. We'd been to two other hotels on our trip that were less expensive, more all encompassing and definitely deserved their four stars. This one did not.

Mike van Coezand

The rooms are very clean. The location is great. Next to the sea. But all my appreciations go to the girls that work at the bar outside. They work so hard the give the customers the best holiday. Even when it is so hot outside. Nerea, Coral and Cynthia made sure every customer was staying hydrated and they always kept smiling. A big thumbs up to the 3 girls!!!!!!

Millie Cunliffe

Maha, mireia, ana, thomas and tania and the trainer employee alberto where amazing, the best entertainers we have ever met, they where very helpful and kind to me and my boyfriend and where very talkative, definitely recommend the hotel and get talking to the staff. Thinking of coming back next year after our amazing visit. As well as the clean rooms and amazing balcony.

Sarah Freeman

We loved this hotel and didn't want to leave, all the staff were so friendly and attentive, rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard and there was always something to do for the kids, the Barcy and restaurant teams were particularly fantastic. The hotel is literally a stones throw from beach and is close to the train station. Thank you Occidental team for a wonderful stay!

Lovely stay I paid for double bed room but was given two single bed which I fell through on the last night overall the hotel is amazing and deserves 5star. This hotel is very clean rooms are lovely and balcony’s are clean. Restaurant is 10/10 the variety of food is crazy chiefs cooking fresh food and pancakes in the AM fresh food being brought out every 10 mins free glass of Prosecco with breakfast. I enjoyed my stay the staff was amazing and so helpful with every detail you need to know. Beach is in front of hotel pool entrance. Gym also on back side of villa. Bus to main city centre for shopping stops right out the back entrance. I went to few nice restaurants on the beach walking distance from hotel. Onsite camera man who takes pictures for free. Massages available for as cheap as €35. Drinks at the bar where lovely 10/10 co*cktails are refreshing and fresh don’t taste cheap.definitely will stay here this hotel deserves more than 4stars and for any negative reviews don’t let them put you off from staying here I’m from the UK and my 5 day stay was fine

Stay superior class room! This hotel has very good-super kind staff and a fantastic view of the sea, but that's not enough for a 4-star hotel! the rooms are very run down, hotel focuses on the outside but forgot what's inside, overall a simple place, more a 3-star hotel definitely not 4 stars, the bar makes good co*cktails, the hotel is clean with a good vibe it's time for the owner open his wallet!

Lovely stay. I'm a repeat visitor as I find the location great for a quiet trip. All the staff are friendly, in particular the dining room staff (particularly Julian and Pepe who are very helpful) and Paco in the gym.

Kasmala Mahmood

We stayed at this hotel for a few days with 2 small kids. Overall it was ok. I will simply list the pros and cons...Pros:good variety at breakfastvariety of services (gym, massage, pool, entertainment)helpful staffCons:Very old bed and furnitureCleanliness not on pointEverything needs to be bought (even water and coffee)Far from cityWe had a crawling baby hence we noticed that there were splashes from mopping everywhere, by the walls, on the furniture. A lot of dust under the beds.Furthermore, no common area or kitchen where one could wash baby bottles, upon asked at the reception they said to wash them in the toilet. We had our days planned and came to the hotel only to spend the night hence it didn't bother us as much but the hotel doesn't live up to a 4 star hotel.

Chez Rutto

I’m just finishing my holiday here. Hotel is in good location, staff lovely, same food everyday and not hot. Coffee machines only work at breakfast how convenient for them so they can sale you coffee after lunch or dinner. Also the most weird thing is it’s the first hotel in the world I have been to that doesn’t give you water during meals. They are after your money left weight and centre. We were lucky to change my booking from all inclusive to half board which was excellent idea as I got to eat good hot food in the beach restaurant! I couldn’t be proud of my self! I’ll encourage everyone here to go half board as you get better food along the beach restaurant just outside the hotel and it’s also cheaper than what you will be paying to get same cold chorizos. The most

Karen Shogren

I loved this hotel right on the beach! The hotel was spotless, my room was very comfortable with a sea view. The buffet breakfast was the best I have ever had, overlooking the pool and beach, and was a bargain at 11 euros. There are several lobby vending machines with a variety of snacks and beverages. I had to leave early the 2nd morning, and after telling them the night before, the next morning they showed me to a dining room off the lobby where a delicious cold breakfast was laid out waiting for me. The hotel is adjacent to a beautiful promenade along the beach, with benches and lights. It is not far from the airport, so a good place to stay for easy transport. They do not offer airport shuttle, but will call you a taxi.

We read several reviews for the hotel. We stayed with two children, all aspects were fantastic. Beautiful setting. Special thanks to the two entertainment staff, who were extremely well organised with fun by the pool and kids club. More important great fun!! They put 100% into all of their activities! Made our holiday very fun! Thank you

First impressions very nice looking hotel, great location. Staff are friendly & organised it has everything you really need on a holiday. We went all inclusive but some areas you still have to pay for. Overall really liked this hotel

Dave Brown

Very impressed with the hotel. Excellent rooms, very good service from all staff members and nice facilities for all the family. We came a little out of season but was still very busy and very enjoyable. The hotel is a little bit out of town but we preferred the location which felt quieter and with very close bus and train facilities more than made up for the slight remoteness. A few nice bars/restaurants a short walk away but definitely worth a taxi ride to Benalmadena Pueblo for a touch of class. My only recommendation for the hotel is that the breakfast was not very exciting and I would have preferred a lot more local products such a bakery and fruit for a small increase in price. This would have made it the perfect holiday. Overall, highly recommended and would definitely come back again!!

Ida Jansby

I really liked my my stay here. The room was wonderful; large balcony with sea view and very quiet. Comfortable bed. A plus the room had a bath tub, as most rooms have. I’m intolerant of gluten and often don’t get an exciting breakfast, but here it was excellent; pancakes made especially just for me. All the staff was really friendly.

Love the location, very close to the airport but can access to downtown using metro. The metro stop, Puerta Blanca, is only 2 blocks away, super convenient! We decided to stay in on new year’s eve and enjoyed the quietness. The food at the restaurant is great and the staffs are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is also great. Oh one more thing, love the fact that they have self-serve laundry on-site, the new year day was out laundry day 🤣🤣

Hunter Lee Logan

Clean and comfortable, but for the price I’d expect free breakfast, not an extra £23 charge! Room service was surprisingly more fairly priced and very good — the chicken club was incredible. The location is very convenient to the airport and just a short walk to bus stops

Marcelo Abelenda

This is at least our fourth time staying here (Guillermo Garcia and myself) The location is great if you have a car, but if not, public transport is nearby. Hotel very close to the airport. Front desk is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a good size and very comfortable. Most important, the restaurant staff is the best, Michel, Vanessa, Antonio, Garcia, Dani are super attentive and friendly. Dinner dishes are tasty and good breakfast, too. Only suggestion for improvement is updating the hallway decor (walls, lights, and carpet)

Luis Manrique

Diamond member here. The bad:1- I could not get additional water during my stay.2- they did not allow my family and I to turn off the Heating to turn on the AC for cooling.3- customer is always right when they are paying. The good:1- little bags with a razor, toiletries, etc.2- breakfast3- location4- service (politeness)

The Hilton Garden Inn Malaga was exactly as we expected based upon its proximity to both the train station and airport. Although we had originally planned to do more than just veg, our two-night connecting visit in Malaga to Zurich sadly got the short end of the stick. We had already experienced so many amazing places in almost three weeks of touring along the southern coasts of Portugal and Spain. Simply enjoying the tranquility of our one-bedroom suite and the hotel's restaurant for breakfasts and a dinner was perfect. In all honesty, we were admittedly surprised by the quality of our dinner...glasses of Verdejo (of course) but Sea Bass and Cod with starters of onion rings and salads were all wonderful. The staff throughout the hotel was amazing...friendly, helpful and always professional. As Diamond members, we vacation in far too many Hilton-family properties and have come to expect an excellent product. The Hilton Garden Inn Malaga did not disappoint. So when we eventually return to Malaga to actually play tourists, we hope to enjoy more hotel amenities than just a spacious suite.

Don’t touch the thermostat! Our room is 26 degrees and only pushes out heat! Our neighbors said their room is 31! No customer support to call on hotel phone or on mobile. Went to front desk to wait in line for 30 minutes only to be told to open up my door to cool it down. He said they don’t have aircon and can’t cool all the rooms. No other help. There are no signs saying the thermostat doesn’t cool. There is clearly a snowflake on it indicating it is cooling but it’s pushing heat. What do they do in the summer? I won’t stay here again.

Would have been a five star review, however we had big issues with the house keeping. Twice they left our door open so anyone could walk into our hotel room. Be sure to use the safe so you don’t lose any valuables. Very worrying.

We have just got back from a week at the Sol Torremolinos Don Marco and here’s my review on the good, bad, and helpful tips.Arrival:Nice and easy, front desk is easy to find and there’s a luggage room where you’re given a key if the room isn’t ready for you yet. At this point you don’t get any information about facilities etc. so you’re going to have to do your research beforehand or find it out as you go.Pools:There are 7 outdoor swimming pools with 1/2 of these being small and for young children. Also two hot tub jacuzzis. The great thing about the pools is the fact there are so many, you can do a different one each day. Yes they are small, but we didn’t see an issue with this as they were never too busy (we went in the school holidays in July/August). One thing I LOVED about the pools were the ‘towel police’. If you leave your sun lounger unattended for any point of time, you’ll get a note pegged into your towel stating if you aren’t back in 1 hour 15 minutes, your items will be deemed lost, and taken to the pool club house. Yes you might be just getting a drink and then notice you have a note, but it’s really not an issue as it’s designed for those people who ‘reserve’ a lounger and then leave it for hours unattended. The pool staff will take the stuff away too, we saw this multiple times but we thought this initiative was fantastic, and because of this, out of the 7 days, there was only one where we couldn’t get a lounger immediately, but we found one after 30 minutes. A couple of the pools water is rather salty and it’s worth mentioning although there are 2 pools which are classed as adult only as there’s no lifeguards, nobody checks these during the day so children will be in there although it’s less often.3 Hotels:It says there’s 3 hotels and there are. To be honest though, it’s as though it’s one massive hotel so don’t be out of that the Don Marco has no restaurant, the other two are close and you get a sense that it’s one huge hotel not 3 individual ones. It all looks lovely too!Tips:- download Uber before you go and have you passport number to hand (required by Spanish law). It’s so easy to use and better than finding taxis. We used Uber to go to Aqualand, the crocodile park, the marina and many more places and weren’t charged over €15.- Make the most of the self service bar and food.- Food times are: breakfast 8-11, lunch 13:30-15:30, dinner 19:00-22:00. Try both restaurants, one is much bigger but therefore much busier. We liked the small one for breakfast and the big one for dinner.- Take some shoes comfortable for walking as the walks by the beach and to the old town are lovely no matter the time of day.- It’s hot and parasols sometimes don’t always shade you so be wary of that.- Try all the pools!Overall, we would stay here again.

Lovely hotel. Room was good, service was very polite. Long qeues at check in though so could do with more staff/computers at reception.Breakfast was ok, nothing special in my opinion and same for dinner. Was just heavily overcrowded and not a pleasent. But my overall experience was good at the hotel!

I love this hotel! Fifties chic.Staff are professional and friendly. The hotel is spotless thanks to the nonstop cleaning schedule. Each room I gave stayed in has been comfortable with a sea view. The reception area always smells nice, and now you can purchase the same room fragrance. One big request/ suggestion is for a pot plant or something be placed at the corners of the parasol bases at the Odina bar. I have seen many people trip or stub their toes on the wide base unit. The views are too good to look at rather than where they are walking.😎

We have stayed at the Pez Espada on many occasions now, most recently last month for 4 nightsThey have made a few small differences, one to the dining area, which seems to work better. One thing we did notice in our rooms was that the TV doesn't have a English channel which they have in the past, not that we want to watch TV while we are away but it would be nice just to have to catch up maybe with news back home. Thank you

Just back from a four night break with friends to celebrate my birthday. This is a great hotel the rooms and public areas are spotless the staff work very hard. The reception staff are very friendly and the staff in the restaurant are excellent. The food was very good always a good choice. They gave me a bottle of Cava and cake for my birthday it was such a lovely suprise. The only downside was the pool was closed on the last two days of our holiday but can't blame hotel for that as there was a drought and the sea is just across the road so no problem. We would definitely choose this hotel if we return to torremolinos

We stopped here six years ago and said we would return. So pleased we did. Used as a base to get into Malaga this time. We did see a little bit of local area which is easy to reach from hotel.Room was spotless and well maintained.Food was excellent warm and reasonable choice for a hotel out of season.Breakfast very good.Staff excellent and very friendly. we will return again.

Spotless and an ideal location. That is where the positives end. Dated in decor and entertainment. Food average ar best. Reception staff not interested in the customer. No reason for us to return

The staff really makes the stay. They are so friendly, helpful and really made us feel welcome. We had a lovely holiday, everything was kept clean and the food was good. The pools were also very clean and is great for children. Location is perfect too, literally a stone throw from the beach and the public transport makes for easy exploring. The only thing that would make this even better is if the rooms had an upgrade, they are kept very clean but are overall a little outdated, a little modernisation would just be great and perhaps better soundproofing.Would definitely return and recommend.

We stayed for 3 nights 2 adults, 1 8 year old and had a lovely time. The hotel is clean and tidy but could do with a refresh. We had a room on the 10th floor with a huge balcony on the roof of the hotel which was really nice. The pool areas, and slides were great. The location was also good next to the beach and lots of nice restaurants close by. The food and drinks were okay, we were happy with what we got for our money. Will definitely return

This is a kid very friendly hotel. We went with our family which included our great grandchildren. Ideal for families. We felt our room would have benefited from a makeover. However meal times there was always a good choice.

The place is beautiful.I love the location and we have fun every day.We won a bingo and my friends and me joining at the entertainment activities. All staff brilliant and very helpful.Specially Fran and Chocolate entertainment. Thanks for everything!!

A highlight of our family trip. With two under 4, it's hard to find the right balance of amenities for adults and kids, but this place hits a home run! There's a fun baby pool and playground for the youngest and an awesome water playground with three water slides for the older kids 3 and up. The pool is gigantic and there's even an indoor pool. Unfortunately the smaller indoor pool isn't heated and in April, all the water was frigid cold so no one lasted long in the water. But with a purchase of the all-inclusive package, we had plenty of fun poolside and attending the nightly entertainment. Kids were allowed to watch the musicians, magicians, comedians, and even the casino nights. We had a wonderful time and will be returning during future visits to the area.

TIMY

We‘ve been there during the Easter period, the hotel is absolutely amazing, rooms are impeccably clean, restaurant service is great, also the food choices are diversified, people have plenty to choose from. We have seen kind and generous hospitality around the hotel and not only, starting from the reception and ending with the last cleaning staff. Facials in the spa are worth the visit, very relaxing! We will definitely be back with the next occasion!Special thanks to Antonio from the restaurant, Funny from the pool bar and last but not least Mr. Juan from the Cafe Bar! Best wishes!

Sara Magalhaes

We travelled with our 4 year old daughter and had a fantastic experience! The kid club and monitors are wonderful and dynamic. A Big Thank you to Carlos, Alex and Fran that treated our daughter with so much kindness and beyond expectations! Hope to see you soon

The location was lovely. Away from the city and was more relaxed and quiet. The staff were outstanding and willing to attend our requests.I can proudly and wholeheartedly say with full confidence that this was our best family holiday we ever had! Many many thanks and hats off to Fran, Belen, Angela and the entire Star kids camp team for entertaining Shlok for the duration we stayed at this hotel. The team was very friendly, kind, keen, passionate, trustworthy, safe and caring. They had a range of fantastic fun-filled activities for children and adults too.The memories we have gathered here will last us a lifetime and we shall definitely be returning!

One of the most gorgeous hotels I've ever seen.We stayed here in December, a family of 4 in a 2 bedroom apartment.Everything was clean, well presented and truly exquisite. The gardens and pool area were like a dream.I still remember the delicious breakfast muffins.Finding parking can be tricky but not impossible.

BOAT RADIO

Five stars for the amazing pool area. We stayed in a suite for three nights. It was very comfortable and clean. The hotel itself is beautiful, as are the gardens, and that pool is terrific - our children had a great time. The breakfast is good with excellent coffee. I think my only criticism would be of the location. Sadly, Almunecar is a shabby, neglected and very dated resort town with little to recommend it.

Alberto Rodrigo

4 star Tropical hotel with great pool in the middle of an avocado field. Around 10 minutes walk from the beach. It has a restaurant maybe a bit pricey for the quality and a snack bar. co*cktails for 7€. You should get the apartment with pool/beach view. Tip: Some owners offer the apartment within the hotel complex through Airbnb for a much better value as they bought them as timeshare. Since COVID they removed the table tennis and the kids school service.

Pekka Peuhkurinen

Very good service and staff. Expensive. Pool area is the best here. Very good cleaning. Breakfast is ok, but very crowded on latest hours served. Beach is 1 km away. Needs renovation on rooms. Mattresses are already worn out

Possibly the best accommodation in terms of services and personnel. From the great reception staff to the always kind housekeeping ladies, everyone was willing to help on any kind of request or question. The social character behind the hotel and the all-people accessibility measures taken from braille inscriptions in all needed areas, from the ramps and the spacious elevators to the very spacious and spotless rooms, makes everyone feel so welcomed and cared for. I must highlight the exceptional Felix from the front desk that helped us so much during both our stays and is also a live example of humane and professional behavior at the same time. Excellent value for money at all possible ways. I highly recommend it for everyone visiting Malaga.

Ich Du

Excellent room and great location. Breakfast was marvellous. The one and only negative thing to mention, there was only one soup available with a pre-purchased dinner. Maybe not the hotels fault but at least one alternative would have been great. In general, nothing bad to say about this hotel.

Seth Dworkin

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent and good value. One issue was that when we arrived in the room, there was a strong smell of cleaning products which took many hours of having the windows open to clear.

Shreya Jana

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. It is located at 15 mins walk from the train/ metro station. The rooms are quite big. We got a harbor view room and the views were splendid. The cleaning service was commendable. There is a restaurant in the hotel which serves limited number of items. The buffet breakfast had a lot of options but they served the same items everyday. Though it is not located in the center of the city (there are few restaurants around), it is just a 10 mins (by bus) from the center. Also, it is pet-friendly!

Joan Hearne

Stayed here from 15th march to 19th, myself and my husband,From when we arrive we were dealt with so professionally by all staff, and as there was a conference on as we arrive, the staff at the front desk were dealing with alot, but still so good , a very nice girl took our cases and told us she would ring us when our room was ready as we were very early arriving,On our return, our room was ready, and was superb, the rooms are very big, with everything you need, very large comfortable bed, we were very happy with the situation also, beach less then 10min out and app 8 mim in to the centre of the city , leisure centre have so nice with fantastic services in it, all your staff were so happy and friendly all the time, and this is so nice to see and added to a great trip.Thank you for a fab stay and we are returning in sept 👍😀

Beautiful see view is not so much a see view but a neighbors view.Very nice staff and areas hotel. But there are too many people. Eating at the hotel, it's more like a fight for life :)You will have nowhere to park your car. Hotel garage is expensive. The location is also very busy. There are too many people everywhere. In the off-season too.

Lengthy check in process took us nearly 45 minutes if not longer. It was all a bit chaotic & unsure what took so long to do! We arrived at around 1pm and were fully aware the check in time was 2pm – however our rooms were not ready for another hour at least after the advertised 2pm. Why advertise a check in of 2pm when it is likely to be after 3pm or later? Our booking had two rooms and we were given two completely different types, one older dated and one that had been modernized. Upon request this was changed but yet another visit to reception down to reception. Our room was eventually pleasant, clean with a great shower. You heard the rubbish collection every morning though. The roof top pool area is lovely, as was breakfast & very well organized considering the number of people staying in the hotel. All communal areas of the pool were well maintained and very clean. The hotel is big so a lot of walking to and from the entrance and buildings waiting for lifts – unavoidable but something to note.We are not given any kind of guidance about the location of facilities at check in kind of left to fend for ourselves to find our rooms and other areas. I noticed confusion amongst other guests about this too. A little more attention to detail and it would have been the perfect stay.

Bunty Smith

Over the years we have stayed here a few times.I would like to take this opportunity to thank the very efficient reception team for their help with everything connected with our stay. The hotel has been upgraded recently and is looking very elegant our room was well appointed, kept very clean by housekeeping, very quiet and comfortable. We took the half board option and enjoyed the abundance of food on offer, it was delicious!!We noticed from our previous stays how over worked staff are, all staff were working at top speed but could barely keep up with demands. The hotel was much busier than our previous stays and management may need to look at increasing staff numbers to meet demand. Overworked staff is never good as customer service fails and guests get annoyed so it's a false economy. The entertainment was very good especially the Elvis impersonator and the guitar and violin duo. Wonderful musical artists!!We had a wonderful stay and hope to return!!

Denise Meek

Our 3rd stay. It is a lovely hotel. Since our last visit, there have been a lot of upgrades to facilities. All perfectly good. There is more entertainment in the evenings, food excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. If I had to complain, it would be the usual way of hotels the world over. They charge just a little too much on drinks from the bar.

Mu ZHAO

The picture on website for “Deluxe Sea View Room” shows an unblocked wonderful sea view, but after we check in, we find the room is mostly facing the hills, and we need to sit at the terrace to see the sea. This is definitely cheating on us. And the staff on the first night is unable to help us because no manager was still on duty that night, and we felt very upset. Furthermore, our room cards lost function for like 3 or 4 times and each time we have to go down from room in the annex building, walk way down to the reception, change the card and go back, taking about 15 minutes each time, and this really wastes us a lot of time and emotion.

I loved everything about this hotel. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Beautiful outdoor pools with a stunning views. Restaurants offer high quality dining options during the day. Breakfast also was excellent and good varied. The hotel team impressed the most, they has always been friendly, patient and helpful. Many thanks for all Front Office and MED restaurant team. Definitely will go back!

The hotel is amazing and we will return and have recommended it to our friends. The staff in every department were extremely helpful and professional and went way and above to assist my ill husband. I will never forget the kindness and helpfullness they all showed my husband and I. The facilities are second to none and well worth experiencing. The food was excellent this is a truly 5 star hotel in every way.

Andrew Sharp

We had a great stay at Higueron Hotel. The design of the hotel is nice, all the furniture and design in common areas is well designed and feels luxurious. All our meals on site were great, breakfast was a highlight. Be aware of you're there on a Monday or Tuesday that some of the options are closed on those days. The shuttle to the train station was great, although I wish there was a later shuttle. The rooms were the low point of the stay. While the views are amazing and the rooms adequately sized, the layout, however, is really terrible. The sink is behind the bed, only inches away, so if you turn on the sink while your partner is in bed, they may think they're going to get wet. The shower is in the middle of the room, and while that may be fine for a romantic stay, the option of privacy is important. The shower is also right next to the bed and the towel hooks are 3m away from the shower, so unless you're going to go halfway across the room to get a towel, the best place to keep a towel is on the bed.

Elaine Cooper-Willox

Just returned from a week in the Higueron Hotel and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is stunning with amazing facilities both inside and out - we used the loungers beside the beautiful top floor infinity pool on our first day (which were an extra charge with our type of room), then on the second day onwards used the loungers beside the Med Restaurant - which to be honest were equally as good - plenty room to sunbathe and such a lovely setting.Everything is immaculate and clean, the food was perfect and the Hilton breakfast was one of the best I've tried (been a Hilton member for almost 20 years) The sports facilities within the complex are impressive - not everything is included within your stay, but is there if you want/need.Only negative was that the hotel info app didnt work for me (think its an issue with my iphone) so it would have been good to have access to the same info but on paper (old fashioned i know!)Travelled with a friend this time but planning a return stay with my husband for our anniversary - highly recommend this hotel :-)

isabel galang

this hotel is perfection, perfect resort hotel. Close to the beach, complete facility, very spacious. great service, the infinity pool is amazing. The reception staff Jose is very kind and welcoming and the breakfast buffet is really good, the breakfast staff Mica is very nice and kind. And also shoutout to the girl at the information desk who explain to us all the interesting places we need to go in the area and gave us tips, we appreciate her. They made my birthday an unforgettable experience. I’m super happy with our 5 nights stay. I will definitely recommend this hotel and I will definitely come back!i

Hotel is of very good standard this is my 4th visit since 2017 it’s been maintained to an excellent standard 7 years later it’s still the same and doesn’t look tired. All the staff work extremely hard and provide an excellent service.I have visited the hotel gym many times over the years it’s small but adequate. I have been told the gym is going to be made bigger next year and the staff member named Silvia who is very helpful and keeps the gym in a very clean condition deserves to be mentioned.

Alex Bryn Jenkins

Staff were friendly, 3 pool, a kids one plus wave pool and slide. Enough areas that there is room to go elsewhere if one pool is busy. It's not the best beach, but enough inside the park to outweigh that.Food was a good mix that there was something for everyone, if there was a fussy eater or someone who wanted to try something new.Would go again once the renovations have finished. To be fair, the building work at the top end wasn't that disruptive even if you are by the pool nearest to it. Would recommend it as a family holiday.

RoboZiggy

Excellent 4 Star hotel, complex offering all inclusive. Hotel is a bit rural as not much around the hotel but hotel offers a free bus service to Puerto Babus 4 miles way which has a beautiful harbour and beaches.

Great for the kids, always something for them to eat too. Even if fussy. Not the best night entertainment and not the best location as not much near by. Staff are excellent in most interactions.

A strong smell of chlorine is felt only after entering. The furniture of the rooms is outdated, the bedding is poor. The service staff is rude. The food served in the hotel is not tasty, the dishes are broken... The experience in this hotel is disappointing.

Very tidy hotel and room. Friendly Staff. Decent qualify restaurant with plenty of choice available for all tastes. Nice bar area. Nice outdoor pool and fantastic beach views.

Great location for shops and cafes. On the flat so if you have difficulty walking it's ideal the hotel is clean and spacious in public areas. We booked a sea view which was good, only down side was we could hear the lift at night room 649. Food was above average for a Spanish hotel but don't rate the bacon unless you want to use it to make shoes. we can not understand why they have to over cook it. Pool was cleaned daily but didn't use as it was to cold but it is November after all. Staff are all hard working and helpful.

Love this hotel in the center of Marbella. The Amari hotel is located for adults only. It has an absolutely wonderful view directly of the sea front in Marbella plus its own beautiful restaurant and Chiringuito right on the beach. The pool area and the bar area right on the beach is absolutely amazing. It has wonderful pool and sitting for all the clients services is absolutely amazing and the art installation within the hotel is absolutely stunning. The staff and the service in the hotel is 100% the best they are so happy and friendly and welcoming. Our experience in this hotel has been fantastic, they have very attentive and friendly staff ready to help whether in the front desk, restaurants or beach. The breakfast buffet is delicious and they have very healthy options and a little bit of everything for almost any diet so I highly recommend taking it. The rooms we received was clean and spacious, we had the balcony so if you’re able to get that as an option definitely worth the extra spend.

Super hotel, lovely staff. Excellent breakfast options Inc cava on ice. Little sweets available in pots around ground floor areas. Beach restaurant was good, we only used the main restaurant once. The Messina restaurant was under refurbishment so unfortunately not open. Rooftop bar was a bit small. Rooms had a good view (booked side sea view). Comfy beds, tea/coffee, mini bar. Safe etc. slight problem with some lifts getting stuck. Spa floor got a bit slippery. Great location short walk to the centre. Adults only. Overall really liked it.

I just went to the rooftop and let me say that everything was perfect, from the time we entered the hotel, until we left, we felt like king !!The service is good, the waiter are very nice and polite, and the ambiance is good, they had a singer that day with a very nice and relaxing voice !!I do recommend this place, at least the rooftop, next time I’ll try the room !!!Prices are correct, it’s Marbella !!As well nice view of the city.I’ll be back !

You want to stay in Marbella? The Amare Marbella Beach hotel should be your first choice. Modern and spacious rooms, a general classy and artsy hotel and friendly staff will make your stay very pleasant. The Beach Club offers good drinks, food and hammocks (for free, at least during our of season stay in April). The location of the hotel is perfect as it is just a street across from the old town center and directly at the beach!

What a wonderful hotel - we were blown away with the place, staff and location! The breakfast buffet was well presented and lots of selection including fresh fruits, hot breakfast ( sweet and savoury) along with a selection of fresh smoothies, juices and hot drinks. The service throughout our stay was amazing, the staff are so friendly and helpful and the activities are fun thanks to Rita! :)We really enjoyed having the live music whilst chilling by the pool and during breakfast.Overall it is a beautiful place to stay, it has everything you need. We will 100% be returning! Thank you!

Excellent hotel and location! We stayed for a week with our 6 month old son, and everything was outstanding! Spacious, bright rooms with everything you need, including a sleeping cot! The food quality is excellent, fresh food and great variety. They are great in catering for dietry requirements (with loads of gluten free options). The staff are very friendly and always go the extra mile to accommodate your requests (Special mention to Cynthia and Blanca!!). We highly recommend this hotel and are already considering coming back here.

Lovely hotel right on the beach. Staff at reception were wonderful. Such a shame you can't pay for anything and have to add the charge to your room, you don't even get a total cost or have any idea how much anything is. Makes it especially difficult if you're sharing a room with a friend as you then have to split everything and work out everything later. Also not a lot of evening entertainment going on.

We are having our wedding here in September and had the menu tasting last week. Our first tasting attempt was as bad as it gets, when it comes to a wedding menu. Food was subpar, underwhelming and undercooked. Service was excellent by Zamora. However we had a second try the following day and the experience was extraordinary. The food was incredible and same for the service. Patricia the manager was excellent, friendly very attentive and always with a smile. Zamora's service was the same, excellent. The venue is beautiful and right on the beach. Again thanks to Patricia and Zamora.

Jason

The service was excellent! Jaime Jordana took great care of us with personalized service. He was outstanding and made our trip very special. I highly recommend this hotel as the attention to detail is top notch! Great job Iberostar and great job Jaime! Thank you so much for making our stay exceptional.

Great hotel with perfect location. City beach, restaurants and shops are at the doorstep. Old town is 10 min walk. Pool area is amazing. Coffee could be better.

Very good and excellent service, especially the dining hall and the reception, and in one case at the reception Mr. Antonio, who was very kind and friendly.

Rakel Eyfjörð Tryggvadóttir

This hotel is really outdated in every way I felt like I was in the '70 but everything not new. Also at this time in oktober it is just full of orderly people traveling not that I do mine that it just felt sometimes that we where in a orderly home. 🙏 the lobby is so so big and the first floor there totally full of empty space. The swing pool was nice ,did have hot pot and cold pot ,but it was all outdated. The rooms Were big enough, but so outdated, there was a vift over the bad that probably have seen a better days,it was wobbly and swinging on the sealing when it was on. The bed it self was 2 bed together 140 cm each..so the bed was 280*200 and it could have 4 persons in there. Fridge old and rusty and all the furniture are just old ,smelly and from the '70 . Staff nice and the location is great. For the price it is just a ripoff because of it needs to be updated.

Spent 9 days there. We found everything about this hotel very comfortable. A home away from home. Loved the location. Easy access to the centre, but away enough to enjoy the long promenade coastal life. The staff very very friendly and helpful. All of them. I will definitely go back.

Very nice hotel. A charming view of the sea. Breakfast is great, but I missed fresh vegetables. Location away from the center...in a quiet peaceful area. With cafes in the area. A slow 35 min walk to the center.

I always make it a point during my travels to help another traveler make the right choice and decision. Hotel Vincci Malaga is truly and honestly one of my favorites in the world! Upon checking in, we were welcomed by Paula, Isabelle and David the intern who ai personally think should be working there permanently for his gleaming smile and very helpful demeanor! But is doesn't stop there, Paula and Isa had experience and service fit for a six star hotel and yes they do exists! But what I found more amazing is the consistency of world class hospitality even the staff the next day where Sharon and Adrian also extended the warm Spanish Hospitality with their outstanding service! They all made me feel very at home! i truly believe Christina the General Manager has a gem of a staff truly to be proud of! And thats only the service! The rooms were beautiful and very clean and lovely amenities with in the room. They have an outstanding breakfast in the restaurant bar. They include welcome drink tickets upon your arrival. They have a pool and also have parking. The location is so lovely which is across the street from the beach and just minutes away from the town proper! I, without any hesitation or a hint of doubt, highly recommend Vincci Malaga hotel to all visiting Malaga, the city with a beautiful reason for its existence and tell them Richard sent you!

Christopher Simon

Vincci Hotels are more dependable & consistent in this part of the Costa Del Sol than some others we have tried recently. This one especially so. Service is absolutely faultless in every way. Some internal features such as the light fittings are beginning to look a bit dated in such an othetwise modern Hotel, but the comfort and convenience on offer mean that it's scarcely relevant.

Roy Mukungunugwa

My Girlfriend and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Vincci Malaga, and I must say, it was an absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish. What truly set this hotel apart for us was the exceptional service provided by the front of house staff, particularly Isabel, David and Adrian. From the moment we arrived, Isabel and David at the front desk greeted us with a warm smile and went above and beyond to ensure a seamless check-in process. They took their time to provide recommendations on the best local attractions making sure we had all the information we needed to make the most of our stay. Isabel and David were always there to lend a helping hand with a genuine and friendly demeanor.During our time at the hotel, we had the opportunity to interact with Adrian, one of the concierges. His knowledge of the area and attention to detail were truly remarkable. Whether we needed assistance with room service, securing a dinner reservation, or arranging transportation,The hotel itself is beautifully appointed, with modern amenities and a stunning coastal view from the rooftop terrace. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and impeccably clean, providing a comfortable and relaxing oasis after a day of exploring the city.Overall, our experience at the Hotle Vincci Malaga was simply exceptional, and I attribute a large part of that to the outstanding service provided by Isabel, Adrian, and David. Their dedication to ensuring guest satisfaction is truly commendable and sets this hotel apart as a must-visit destination in Malaga. I highly recommend the Hotel Vincci Malaga to anyone seeking a truly memorable and personalised hotel experience.

We had such a wonderful experience staying at the Mett Hotel in Bodrum. The hotel was excellent and the staff were so helpful and kind. Great views and location was five star. The facilities in the Spa were so clean and nice. The staff made such an effort for my partner’s birthday. We really would love to come back to the hotel. Many thanks again for a wonderful stay.

We had a lovely stay at the METT! The staff treated us extremely well and made our experience here very memorable. I want to recognize a few of the staff who went above and beyond during our stay.Berfin - she delivered exceptional service during our breakfasts. She made us feel warm and welcome every morning and we thoroughly enjoyed the conversations we had with her. We love the smile and positive energy she brings!Efe - the moment we walked in, he greeted us and made us feel very comfortable. We really appreciate the hospitality he showed such as walking with us to our room and taking care of all the logistics during our stay! We appreciate his high level of professionalism!Additionally, room was super spacious, clean and comfortable. The views and amenities make it an even more unique place. I would definitely recommend staying here for any occasion!

Putri Aryacitra Widyastri

The four of us stayed here to celebrate our 40th birthdays. Super clean rooms and the view is so breathtaking. The beach club Folie is unbeatable. Efe, our butler, and Omar from the lobby bar are the best. Omar made the best Negronis and co*cktails! Overall, had the best time here with my girls 🤍

Adam Watkins

Absolutely loved our stay at this resort in Turkey! The service was top-notch, and two employees, Volkam and Suleyman stood out. Their attention to detail and expertise made our experience unforgettable. The resort itself is stunning, with beautiful accommodations and great amenities. Can't wait to come back!

We stayed for a week at this beautiful hotel! Views are incredible, staff is superb and you definitely get all the attention you need. They reached out with a survey before we arrived to ensure they have everything ready. The beach is gorgeous, pool also very nice, room very spacious and clean (we had studio room) and dinner is delicious. I have to say though only thing that bothered me was breakfast… for me it was 5/10 as when you stay for a week at the hotel you dont feel like eating same over and over as the food in the restaurant was a la carte. Sometimes we waited quite a while to get the food. Our friend had a birthday and they prepared room with flowers cake and balloons!!! They are here for you any hour of the day and they help you book reservations, day trips, etc. overall absolutely a very nice experienc and you feel like royalty! Special thanks to Sahara at reception who helped us numerous times with taxi. We walked from hotel to the city and it takes around 20min…also book horse riding through them as it was incredible!!!!! Definitely recommend it and we cant wait to go back!

We have stayed here a few years ago and in this May 2024 we returned here, the quality is still the same and high. I would like to point out the breakfasts and dinners we enjoyed a lot, because the food is very tasty and the people, who is working here are so nice, we felt like in a family. Rooms are with a balcony, spacious and comfortable. The beach is just across the street and nearby is a supermarket. As well the hotel has a nice bar which is open to 11 p.m. by the pool. WiFi is working very well.

Danielle Maguire

Upon arrival and throughout the first few days of our holiday this hotel seemed great. The room was spacious and exactly as shown on the online images. To start off, the outside tables near the sunloungers were dirty and filled with stains as well as the floor of the hotel rooms not being cleaned. The room we were provided had 2 single beds and we had noticed that one of them were a little faulty as it wasn’t stable on the floor due to the legs of the bed. No issues, we just put up with this. The night before we were due to come home, the “good” bed that we had in the room had broken after one of us sat on the end of it. We went down to the reception and told the male receptionist on duty (his name either Emilio or Ciro) that one of the legs on the bed had broken and that when we had lifted the bed onto its side, 2 of the other legs were missing. We then thought to check the first bed that we noticed was faulty and this had 6 legs.He noted down our room number and said that there were no technicians available until the morning. He never offered a room change, due to use being told since, this is what would have happened. That night we slept on the floor as we had no other options. On the day of checkout, we checked out and the €100 deposit they had held was returned to us.Since then, we have logged a formal complaint with this hotel and Love Holidays in which they have responded to say, they weren’t aware there was an issue with the bed as we never reported the broken bed and if we had, then an alternative room would have been provided. They stated that we also didn’t make them aware of the situation upon checkout. Why would we do this, when we had already notified them the night before? They then added to their story that the maid had gone to clean the room on the day of our checkout and noticed WE had broken the bed for the second time. First they were unaware the bed was broken and the next minute they say the maid had noticed it had been broken twice. If this was the case, then why did they refund our deposit. Seems to me they knew the bed was faulty before our stay and didn’t care. The location of this hotel is in a perfect spot, very close to the seafront however the lack of customer service and compassion has let it down massively. Please avoid this hotel at ALL costs. I have attached the communication with the hotel below as well as the image of the broken bed.

This Hotel is my favorite it's not a big place but it's Soo relaxing and peaceful Lovely staff and gentle housekeeping staff if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle then this is the perfect holiday

Beverley Seaton

We have just come back from a week's holiday at this hotel. Rooms are spacious, shower was good. Cleaners were fantastic, they did a really good job, cannot fault them at all. I cannot comment on the food, as we never eat there. There is so much choice along the beach and also down some of the back streets around old Los boliches, that we usually ate out. Hotel is in a fantastic location, cross the main road (crossing very close to hotel), cut through the walkway and you are next too the beach. It literally took us less than 5 minutes to get too the beach. This hotel is in such a great location, train station close by. All in all this hotel suited us down too the ground. Do not read the negative comments of other reviews, a holiday is really what you make it. Thank you hotel mainare playa.

Laurence Berg

Where to start. Firstly this hotel is not 4star, we have travelled extensively and this hotel is barely two star. On a positive, the rooms are spacious but with very little furniture, the hotel is very clean generally and the staff are all very friendly and accommodating. That said, there is virtually no lobby as you would expect in a 4 star hotel. There is no gym and just one pool table which is the sum total of the entertainment on offer. The pool is very clean and with a minimum of chemicals in it to make swimming pleasant, but the grounds are very limited in size. The hotel is on a motorway which means if you have your bedroom window open at night the traffic noise is constant till about 1 am. The breakfast is good with a good choice although served cold. There is a microwave available to heat up your full English ( no fried tomatoes or mushrooms). The evening meal is virtually beyond description with ham and cheese sandwiches a regular offering. The selection is repetitive, thoughtless and limited. Examples are a lettuce leaf with sliced garlic on it, mechanically reformed beef slices which you can push your finger through, daily soup which is the same watery consistency, colour and flavour every day (with a different daily name), small square slices of fish with a topping and much more I can’t be bothered to name. For pudding if you like plain jelly, angel delight and tinned fruit with very small squares of cheap cake you will be in heaven. No fresh fruit was on offer ( bananas, apples etc) although occasionally there was pealed oranges ( so you can’t take them to your room to eat later) and sliced kiwi. My advice therefore is to go B and B and eat out at the many restaurants on the sea front which would be cheaper too. My main complaint apart from the above is that this is NOT a four star hotel. We looked at several real four star hotels in the area and they were a totally different class. I hope this review proves useful to you.

This hotel is dated, but very clean. The furniture is extremely uncomfortable and in need of updating. The bedroom had two single beds pushed together as a king size bed. They didn't even have king size sheets, so you basically had a single bed touching the other single bed in the room. The pool has no umbrellas for shade. You need to buy tokens at 3 euros for each the washer and the dryer. We will not return here unless it gets a major overhaul.

Barbara Brown

The rooms are set out in a village setting surrounded by gorgeous well maintained trees and bushes..The staff are really friendly and helpful. The restaurant is relaxing and well maintained and lovely views over the sea. Also the food is plentiful and an excellent choice at all meal times. Our room was very comfortable and spacious with mini bar and large bathroom. Oddly though toilet rolls seem in short supply and i ended up having to retrieve some from the public toilets as we were left very low. This hotel is lovely and although a bit remote there's bars near and a short bus ride to Marbella. If you're wanting to have a drink after your evening meal there's only the hotel bar. Any others are a taxi ride or a fair walk. 7km to Marbella and 6km to Cabpino beach. Not for people wanting a lively nightlife .

An emergency dilemma the start of our holiday in Marbella. This hotel came to our rescue. Recommended by a staff member who lives not too far from the hotel . Our private rental failed us. We were greeted by Javier at the Marbella Playa with a smile. He went the extra me to accommodation.odate our family needs. My parents are elderly, 80yrs & 75yrs. My father is blind with little mobility.. I am his carer.. ..Room, breakfast, staff and cost.. 1st class. Value for money.. Do Not Hesitate to book here. Accommodation, food, facilities and location, all 1st class.. Thank you everyone...

Ruta Veikutyte

Its not 4stars hotel. I can give only 1 star. It needs renovation!!!! The smell in the rooms- terrible. Maybe its because old beds. The balcony/terrace- need renovation, the water from fontane was going throw our terrace all the time- it was like small river under the table and chairs...The teritory is very beautiful- full of beautiful small houses and plants. After renovation it could be amazing place for holidays! The bar- old style, with plastic furniture. The scene and sound system- like 50 years before. Swimming pool- too much sunbeds in one place. Not cosy, crowded.Prices- too big. And prepare to wait long long time at the reception...

Brenda Bryan

Been twice now and going back for a third time, find it so relating and the staff are lovely. The food was more varied than I have previously experienced in other all inc hotels. Got health and mobility problems so just need to relax so not bothered about wi-fi. Looking forward t my next visit in September
