Donnie is the best. So glad, I came here for a second opinion. I was able to get my car repaired and with complete transparency. He fixed my car, for way less than the cost originally provided to me….from another location.
A week after my last visit. I had a bolt/screw in my tire. Came in right before closing.
Tyler and Edward were so pleasant, got me in right away and repaired my tire.
This is my go-to location for sure- recommend this location to all 😊

My husband and I had what we thought was a nail in the rear driver side tire.
The tire pressure was down 4 pounds.... put air in and the pressure went down again.
We were an hour and one half from home on a Saturday.
We looked up near by tire stores, and found several but many were close at noon on Saturday.
Luckily Mavis in Wilkes Barre on Kidder street was open.
That were very busy and said it would be an hour or hour 1/2 to get to us.
We did not want to drive home with the tire loosing air... so we would wait.
To our surprise, a technician took our vehicle in to Chek it out, pretty quickly.
The item in the tire was actually a twisted piece of metal and came out with much difficulty.
They were very persistent on getting metal piece out of our tire.... and success with new plug.
The amazing part is we were not ever serviced by Mavis but they certainly repaired our tire today without an appointment and pretty quickly I might add.
Excellence service ....would highly recommend

These guys are the best. Usually when I go to chain garages I feel like they tell me I need a million things done that really are not needed. Today I went in for tires and an inspection. They didn’t try to sell me on a bunch of other things, made sure I was happy and approved all work.
While the car was getting done, multiple employees kept giving me updates and timelines and were very helpful. They did everything they could to help with pricing and make sure I left 100% happy. Do not hesitate to go see them. Trustworthy guys who are a huge help for someone that knows 0 about cars. Have complete confidence!

I showed up just under half an hour before closing time at the Kidder Street location, with only 3 workers there; Edward, Jade, and Tyler did not complain at all, but quickly changed my oil. My friend Tyler worked hard to get it done, and Edward was friendly, helpful, and generous. Another customer mentioned that Jade had been her mechanic for a number of years, and she was obviously satisfied. Good looking shop; quick, quality service; and friendly staff.

The gentlemen that took care of my car were awesome! Really Frriendly and approachable! They kept me informed about my car and quickly completed an oil change, state and emissions inspection in under an hour! They even went to another store for the customer before me and got her battery for her car, to ensure efficient service! Can’t wait for the next oil change !

Highly recommend this location. I spoke with Donny concerning my vehicle, and he quickly explained the issues with it and gave me a quote. The price wasn't bad, and I saw that he applied coupons to the necessary parts to lessen the impact on my wallet. Donny even offered to give me a ride to my house while the staff worked on my car so I wouldn't have to wait in the lobby.
Very professional and considerate. Would return again.

I had a wonderful experience at this Mavis Tire location! I needed a quick patch on my tire, but up was up against the clock because of my work schedule. I dealt with the manager, Ed, who got my tire patched up on the spot so I wasn’t late. He was so kind and did this all with a smile so I could get back to work. I recommend this location 10/10. Ask for Ed!

For starters i would just like to say the service was excellent. I didn’t know much about cars & Jade was walking me through step by step on what he’s doing to my vehicle. Steve at the front desk , was way too friendly. He gave me a good understanding on what’s going on & he was very polite. In all good customer service , well communicated employees , fast work which equals GREAT BUSINESS!

Honestly to God best shop in the area. I have my state inspection done, I have my oils changed done there. Always at best price and everyone always so helpful. You need service done this your place. Jake is the best. Come get service done promise you won’t regret.

Cant say enough nice things!! About halfway into a 16 hour drive, I had a piece of my car dragging the ground around the front tire. As a woman traveling alone, I was really starting to panic. I was referred to Mavis Tire by a lady at a nearby gas station. Long story short, I was back on the road 17 minutes after I stepped in their door. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

My second time coming here this year and I will be going back if I ever need more work done. A pot hole ruined my day but they were able to switch it out so quick I was out the door in 30 minutes. They also found a nail in my other tires that I had no idea was there. Honest hard working businesses are hard to come by these days so I’m glad I found them.

My boyfriend and I stopped in on our way to Allentown PA for what we thought was a slow leak. We walked in and were helped immediately. They took our car right in and assessed the problem & fixed it right away! Super amazing service! I didn’t catch the workers name but either way, everyone who work there is super nice. 10/10 service

Always have a good experience at Mavis on Kidder Street. Even when you just drop by they do everything they possibly can to fit you in. They are very reasonable and are good people. I would recommend taking your vehicle there especially when you are in a pinch!

Have been going to this Mavis since I moved to the area in 2022. They are always forthright and honest about repairs. They have gone the extra mile to get my car fixed before the end of the day on several occasions. Unexpected things happen and sometimes you have to wait but they make great effort to get you going again and their prices are fair. In particular, Edward and Jade have been very helpful, especially during crunch times, they've saved my bacon more than once.

Had an issue with new tires that I purchased, brought it back and Steve the roving manager took care of the problem immediately. Very professional and customer service oriented. Highly recommend.

I am from Harrisburg, Pa and came up to Scranton for a Superbowl party and ended up hitting a big hole in the road. I was told to come here to get my tire changed. When I got here they were short-stopped but very very on top of things they made sure I was comfortable made sure they had everything they needed from me and the enterprise they're very nice great workers helpful and every way everybody should come here if they need any type of vehicle work they do an amazing job and I if I lived here I would come here for any tire change oil anything you need. They are probably best Auto shop I've ever been to. Like I said they have a great work ethic they're diligent they are on top of things they are helpful kind generous and I'm grateful that I came here to get my tire changed because I've realized how great auto this auto shops can be and this is one of the best I've been to. You will not be disappointed I promise.!!!

They saved me today… had a hole in my tire and needed it taken care of asap. Told me 30 minutes wait I was done in about 15/20. Top it all off they did it free of charge… definitely using them from now on for all of my car needs. Thank you!
