First time I've heard "So many bar codes." in any context and especially in a hip hop context. Here's my question though: Is Drake untouchable? These two seemes scared to have a debate about whether Drake is hip hop. As if the very question might result in one of them losing their jobs. Or losing status. And in fact, IS it a badge of honor to be considered hip-hop? Even if the hip-hop is not good? What does it mean to declar "I am a hip-hop artist" versus "I am a pop artist?" Some of the songs of our lifetime are pop songs. Not hip-hop songs. Hip-hop doesn't even touch viral pop songs. In terms of blowout, banger, incredible life-changing, global, impacting, culture-bending, multigenerational hits.So my question is, as an artist, to limit yourself and your genre to hip-hop, does that limit an artist from the potential to be extremely successful, like Drake? I saying, "I'm a hip-hop artist" is limiting belief. I think all limited beliefs should be stopped.

Matteo I can't show you, I can suggest tips to you. are you willing to hear them? #1, stay away from all secular music and videos take it from someone who got spoke to on that. it pulls you away from Christ. it doesn't honor him, it doesn't lift up his name or point to Christ. it has a spirit behind it that is fleshly demonic and not good. go on YouTube and type in they sold their souls to rock in roll, watch it then you'll understand, I pray your eyes will be opened to just how bad the world it is when it comes to the music industry. your buddy m&m is on it. #3. get baptized at vox church in Middletown were having a baptism celebration. march 1st at five thirty pm. why don't you attend. #4. plug into a online community group through vox, you need a community of believers around you, to hold you accountable to help you grow in your faith to encourage you to help you stay on the right path.to challenge you to step into all that God has for u, #5 STAY away from Hauser and men like that who abuses and uses women like objects. stay away from modeling agency guess and all bad influences again take my word for it. I know what I'm talking about. I hope this is helpful

đ” Hip-hop, often seen as just a genre of music, offers so much more beneath its rhythm and rhymes. It teaches us resilience, determination, and the power of storytelling.Recently, a quote from the legendary rapper Nas resonated deeply with me:âDonât ever give up on yourself. Keep pushing because the change of guards is what lifeâs all about. Youâve always got to stick with whatever youâre into because your day is going to come. Your day is destined. If you walk away from that, whether it be from fear or whether youâre just giving up. The greatest sin is fear and giving up.âNasâs words remind us of the impermanence of challenges and the constant evolution in our journey. Itâs a call to persevere and believe in our own destiny. In moments of doubt or fear, Iâve drawn inspiration from this quote, understanding that giving up isnât an option. To all my connections: May we embrace the lessons from all corners of life, including hip-hop. đ€ Believe in your journey, push through the challenges, and remember that your day is destined.

Symphony Of Redemption\The Songs of DestinyAbstract:"The Songs of Destiny" narrates the intricate life of Bud, born in '66, whose journey unfolds against the backdrop of childhood dreams entangled with the shadows of familial struggles. Each chapter explores the paradoxes of joy and turmoil, innocence and vulnerability, resilience and despair. As Bud traverses the roller coasters of life, confronts anger's legacy, and dances with darkness, his odyssey becomes a symphony of forgiveness, revealing the complex interplay of love, redemption, and the pursuit of humanity's essence.Prologue:In the quiet corners of memory, where pain and strength intertwine, lies the story of Bud. Born in '66, life kicked off with simple dreams. As a kid, he had a blast playing board games with his mom and learning handy skills from his dad. The scent of freshly baked cookies mingled with the hum of his dad's toolbox, creating a picture-perfect childhood. But beneath that façade of bliss, there were dark secrets. As we embark on Bud's journey, we unravel the echoes of a past marked by tumult, resilience, and an unyielding desire for redemption.TO READ MORE FOLLOW THE LINKhttps://lnkd.in/gvr7mdtz

Happy Paisley Friday LinkedIn Community. So, as I end punk week, I am trying to figure out how to include some of my punk roots on these wonderful Paisley Friday. Then I realize that I have a picture of Mark Mothersburg, the lead singer of Devo. Now there are those out there who might not know or believe that Devo is a punk band, but they are. They are as punk as The Sex Pistol, The Clash or The Ramones. Instead of being political, they decided to discuss the de-evolution, (hence the name DEVO) of humanity. Now how does this picture and discussing Devo as a punk band have to do with transition? Everything. Punk as a form of music has many different facets, just as the military has many different branches. Don't deny or question others service. (and believe me, there are people who do that, especially to our Coastie brothers and sisters). Be proud of your service. The second thing is that my punk roots will always be a part of me, that doesn't mean that I haven't moved on. This also includes my metal roots, the hip hop roots, the Motown roots, etc.The point being, it's ok to leave the military lifestyle behind.Enjoy the natural growth and path of life. Be proud of your past but understand that it is that the past and don't forget to smile.Paisley on!!!#devo #punkmusic #militarytranstion #paisleyon
