Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Demonstrated ability to identify, develop and close business with strategic sales targets
Design, develop and implement annual sales plans targeted towards growth, innovation and maximization of inventory and opportunity
Build and maintain working relationships with internal and external partners and leverage these relationships in order to reach goals and deliver memorable experiences
Strategically identify direct outbound sales efforts, actively make sales calls to new prospects and drive business development opportunities
Develop and evolve Dodgers 365 CRM process and associated reporting and functionality in collaboration with the Analytics Team
Ability to forecast sales projections and analysis to prepare regular reports
Develop cross selling strategies with other Internal Sales Teams and lead marketing campaign efforts across the year
Work with marketing team to further specifics projects, collateral creation / design, event proposals; strong event marketing and design experience is desired
Engage current & prospective clients effectively in order to build relationships, create repeat clients and consistently exceed client service expectations
Ability to transition events to Programs & Services Team with big picture client and organizational goals top of mind
Evaluate current event offerings and help further the mission of designing a 365-day programming platform
Represent Dodgers 365 at industry tradeshows, sales missions, meetings and events
Prepare and lead site visits and presentation of all Dodgers Stadium venues
Perform related duties as assigned
Basic Requirements/Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
5-7+ years of qualified sales and events management experience required.
Ability to cultivate lasting relationships with clients to grow brand loyalty
Ability to provide a proactive and hands-on approach while maintaining a long term, strategic view of client objectives
Prior sports industry or stadium or arena venue experience preferred
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with external and internal partners
Experience, knowledge and interest in baseball
Demonstrated ability to successfully design and implement cross-functional projects
Outstanding skills managing client relationships, budgets, processes and timelines
Results and revenue focused with strong attention to detail paired with strong organizational skills
Ability to interact positively with customers and build long term relationships
Possess excellent reasoning, problem-solving, creative thinking, and communication skills
Ability to perform duties independently under general, minimal supervision with specific assignments
Proficient in Salesforce, Microsoft Office
Must be able to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends when necessary
Maintain a good understanding of organizational structure, goals, and mission
